Sorry, but we want usernames to be something all English users can type, so to avoid Japanese characters. If you want to do Violet or something like that, you can search if that name is available.

Sorry but that is not possible. We require usernames that can be typed by any English user, so russian (or korean, chinese or japanese, anything "non standard" for that matter) characters are a no go. See if there's something written in regular characters that you want to suggest as new username.
