I can see where they're going with the preview pics. They're trying to extend the chapter to fit the entire episode, and I think it's going to work.

I think they should have extended it in a different way, but I don't know for sure how the episode will turn out just based on the pics so I'll wait and see for sure.

AIC deserve the benefit of the doubt considering how well the rest of the series had turned out, it's not like DEEN with Umineko which was failure after failure.

Edit - Ikaros is totally haxor, wasn't this ED used earlier in the series?

I haven't read the manga chapter for this yet (actually going to read 12 to current now) but I guess those two points were the main obstacles.

I hope they announce a second season soon!

if you mean you're gonna read from chapters 12 on up i wouldnt not recommend doing that. I would read 1-32 cus they anime changed ALOT from the manga. Manga does it better imho, but thats not saying the anime wasnt good cus it was just manga does the story better.

Oh no I already read the first 11 chapters, if 11 was the Tomoko chapter anyway. I've already spoiled myself on Shinova's awesome summary of 11-31 back in the manga thread anyway, since at that stage scans for the manga were looking pretty grim..

Watched ep 13. Good, but not as good as manga, but that's been pretty well-established so far so it doesn't really bother me now.

They've upped Ikaros' haxx factor though.

Looking forward to a second season, because if the ep 11 preview eyecatch isn't an indicator of that I don't know what will be.

I think the exceptions generally are Haruhi class series...add to that, AIC ASTA isn't known for multi-season series (even something as relatively well received as Bamboo Blade hasn't heard so much as a peep about another season, even with how that ended), and I don't know if SoraOto2 would be as good if it weren't Saito Hisashi directing it...

Well if you (guys) want to see another season, hope you bought or will eventually buy the DVDs :P

Me, I'm looking forward to the March release of the PSP game. Not an AVG gamer, but I think I can make an exception to this one

The Harpies were clearly suspicious, but anime Nymph actually got fooled before she used her voice attack while manga Nymph saw through her Master's plans. All in all, not as good as the manga, but still pretty good. Ikaros brought out some pretty... Err, "incredible" weapons. There goes the Earth's ozone layer and all... But with this, perhaps we can look forward to Strike Witches' action scenes? Though if it is just action, Gonzo does a good job too... Despite the preview last week, a certain character didn't make an appearance. (´・ω・｀) 10/10 I'd say 9/10, because it wasn't perfect, but when you compare it to the rest of the anime this season, this feels godly. I'm glad that this anime escaped this season's curse... Anyways, I'm really glad this staff was the one that animated this series. For one thing, you can feel the love the staff has for the series. Also, they are pretty creative (the EDs). Steady high quality animation, a different song every time, etc. AIC definitely worked hard this season. There were a few unfortunate changes from the manga and all (which did have some negative impact later), but changing from the original source happens all of the time and they were able to sort everything out in the end. They did good enough to forgive little mistakes. Always able to make me laugh, sometimes making me laugh so hard my stomach hurts, and some nice seriousness. That is Sora no Otoshimono. Oh, and of course, wonderful protagonist. Definitely one of the best out there. I hope there will be a 2nd season... It does feel likely. It is still going on, and I'm sure the series is popular enough. Also, ep.11's preview... Now then... Who knows... ........................
