Interesting seeing the Walküre name pop up. That was the best thing coming out of Delta anyway

Maybe it was for Tsuda's outstanding narration work in Cells at Work Black

I'm hoping it's for Golden Kamuy.

He's had quite the career. His resume dates back at least to Air.

It's not for Golden Kamuy since he isn't a lead here. My best guess is ID: Invaded.

I'd say it's probably for the Blade of Immortal, since it aired in 2020 as well.

I am unsure if this goes here, but the English dub actress for Nova (Yuki) in "Star Blazers", Amy Howard Wilson, passed away on February 28th at the age of 65.

It’s something that I have noticed for quite some time—do most VAs move on to other careers after a while?A lot of the more prominent ones from ten years ago seem to have focused more on music careers.A lot more seemed to have disappeared or moved to less prominent roles like side characters. Most of them could only be found in Gacha vide games nowadays for some reason.

It's not that they move one - it's just that they become way too pricey for most anime series. The more experienced VA is, the more money they have to be payed. Sure, a lot of series would like to have Masako Nozawa, Shuichi Ikeda, Tohru Furuya or Norio Wakamoto as the leads. But they will eat up anime budget very fast. That is why veteran voice actors usually cast for supporting roles, rather than the main ones. Also, anime voice acting is rather poor source of income, actually. Live action dubbing and video games voice acting usually brings more money to voice actors. So usually they have a cast, full of big-name veteran voice actors.

This is a shame for the international audience and a very weird situation.Usually, it’s the reverse for live action actors/actresses.

Not really.

After all each VAs would find their iconic, specific role they can be identified with at their peak career.
So being expensive when it comes to being main cast is inevitable as they're unique to the point you wouldn't think anyone capable of replacing them, such as Takehito Koyasu for the evil mastermind role or Sawashiro Miyuki for femme fatale role; resulting on expensive price that only proper budgeting can truly have them on long run.

Besides, some of them consider supporting role to be more challenging.
Yuichi Nakamura and Hiroshi Kamiya for example. They enjoy taking supporting role to see range of roles they can do; some also consider it as a chance to let other, either new or least popular voice actor/actress shine.

Not to mention with how widespread things can be through internet, nowadays people who truly interested with seiyuu capabilities can check it themselves.
Back then not many people identify VA of a show, nowadays you can expect some audience pointed out "X character is voiced by A who I recognized voicing Z in N game" or "I watched this show because Y character is voiced by B". Can't say international audience knew nothing when Tsuda Kenjirou became well-known in more anime community lately or how Mamoru Miyano once surprised by his popularity outside Japan.

I know it's a bit late but where are those Kuroko Tetsuya x Tomoka Minato crossover art? My Google-fu seems to be really weak as I could not seem to find any.

Here's the rough translation of her announcement.
https://www.reddit.com/r/seiyuu/comm..._just/gzyb0b7/

The man is someone outside the entertainment industry and they had been in the relationship for a long time.

The anime industry itself, especially in Japan, is not exactly known to pay well. Well, unless you are a higher-up that doesn't actually animate or voice stuff.
