Yuuichi seems more sarcastic that his 2002 Toei counterpart, and many people have affectionately dubbed him "Kyonichi", hence the parody ;P

i can see why yuuichi is like kyon!!

Your translation is a bit too literal in parts. Also, some things implied in Japanese are not necessarily understood in English, so a few additions have to be made to complete the thought.

Spoiler for my translation, complete with naturalization:

I've only been in there about twice, now that you mention it.

"Yeah, but I'd still say that she completely lacks any restraint. I won't let you disagree with that," I said. I at least had to offer this much resistance.

Pretty sure that was Koizumi talking to Kyon, so I worded it according to his speech patterns.

Correction, this is a five-star release, never done before and never will happen again. (I can't believe I came up with something cheesy like "five-star release". )
