The one there is done with a special screen (you can see it if you look closely). Regardless of angle you will see it like it's real; which is what's really important. For all intents and purposes it's a hologram.

The "pure" sci-fi version exists too, but is a little ways off of being of reasonable quality. I believe the current best implementation of that involves plasma. Personally I'm not so nitpicky of the technique, if it looks and acts like a hologram, it's a hologram.

Yes it is... Speaking of Miku-Chan's "hologram concert"... It took me 2 weeks just to get out of it... I was surprise how awesome it was... I love her song during that concert.. I used it as my ring tone too!!!

I love that version of Alucard. He always cracks me up, what with his vigorous moonlight walks, sassy attitude, and his love of 70 inch plasma screen TV's. Sera's cracks me up to, totally clueless.

Their voices and the quality are pretty damn good tbh.
