@ Demi - I get freaked out when hyper people start acting like that so that's why I chose to portray Tabane that way. But hey, it's Tabane, she can act any number of ways and it would still be considered 'Tabane'.

Still, it would be helluva annoying to have to fight someone that evilly hyper.

Heh, and no word about Hakumen's creed being fitted for Chifuyu? I thought it was badassed enough...

@ Zero - oh I have already figured that and it's funny to see that in IS, supposedly, the gender roles were nearly mirrored/flipped. As much as men had enjoyed he privileged benefits of being male in a male-oriented society, with the advent of IS, now women have that same social standing that men once had, and vice versa - some of them, even worse.

It's more apparent that canon operation of Dragon Howl is just that in smaller scale

Fortress might be WTF level of destructive, but it's hardly an "I WIN" curbstomp button, and whatever advantage it possess will be negated if you're fighting one to one inside arena.

At least it wasn't PCA...

For hyper/evil Tabane...I just think of all the most inappropriate things one could say in any given situation and add the voice and mannerisms of a child but with adult wit. Like usual, she doesn't see anyone but Chifuyu, and Ichika to a certain extent. Everyone else looks the same to her and she'd just as easily take their head off as ignore them.

Although I must say, the lack of a space opera-type story for IS is kinda disturbing... But the sheer amount of teckwank would put the best minds in a coma...#_#

And for some reason, I can't get the mental image of Chifuyu as Makoto Kusanagi out of my brain... As if she needs to be any more OP...

Is Tabane in love with her own 'creation' in Chifuyu? Not like a romantic love, but the love that someone might have that made/created something awesome? That and a bit of 'In Love With Your Carnage' for good measure but I assume that she became that way over time, she wasn't as 'insane' as she is now. I mean, she did make more of Chifuyu's kind just so Chi-chan wouldn't be 'so bored' as she put it, and even gave her a family.

... big mistake, giving her best weapon something akin to an emotional crutch outside of herself.

One could argue that Houki is just a remnant of Tabane herself, given form and free-will. Will she turn out just like her 'older sister' will? Depends on Ichika.

Dem ugly Rafael, ugh... I hate the redesign for that one, as much as I hate the new Cecilia.

The only one who get a thumb for me is ShenLong, the bling is awesome.

Different. Tabane destroyed everything. But she's not stupid. She knows the old adage of "life finds a way". The descendants of her enemies, of the world whom she and Chifuyu fought against. Chifuyu is just human, maybe too human as she made the mistake of defending Tabane those thousands of years ago when the world sought their demise. Madoka and Ichika were just saved.

Chifuyu has always been her own person but like I said, she and Tabane are akin to soulmates. More than friends but not quite lovers. Like each of them is a half to the other. Tabane is cheerful, smart, evil. Chifuyu is cold, able bodied, compassionate. Both of them can't relate to normal people because of how they act, the difference is that Chifuyu tried to care, Tabane didn't but for the most part the only people they had are each other.

Houki prolly could have the potential to take over the system... If she weren't dumb as a rock. Not bashing, I just surmise it from her canon instruction of how to fight. Houki ' relation to Tabane is still similar to canon. Only difference is that Tabane loves Chifuyu more.

EDIT: I personally find the Raphael redesign to look good. The BT looks stunningly regal now. SR look more imposing with the size increase and it accentuates Laura's small stature as does shenlong for Rin. I think what makes Rafael interesting now is that it actually looks like a basic frame.

It's too slender and basic.

Remember The Char custom is a souped up version, not puny makeup. the new one? shield too small, booster too small, pilebunker too small...

Not to mention the ugly color scheme, eww...

Personally I like the rest of redesign, especially Shenlong one.

Char custom just replaced a few shields. In fact it was stripped down to make more bus slots if I remember correctly.

Not exactly

The standard version has TWO shield, but only two booster. Char custom has FOUR booster, one shield, and giant ass revolving bunker underneath it. The number of mod removed apparently not from kibbles, but unimportant subsystem.

EDIT: Apparently the new one have those equipment too, but it's so tiny I can hardly recognize them.

I do understand to make it look more compact but man... it's even blockier than original.
