alright there you go, key word contract

you're only as bound as you are in writing, which would mean george michael screwed himself in that department

which brings me back to my point, if you're good (looks like yuki is), you don't have to lock yourself into something you don't like

The other thing is Yuki is new to this world of idols. Rina has control over it while Yuki is being controlled.

Who knows what kind of a contract she does have, velvet nightmare?
And, also, keep in mind how young and inexperienced she's supposed to be - like DragoZERO implied, she's prone to being manipulated more easily than, say, Rina.

It's certainly creepy what Ogata Eiji thinks of Yuki and how she'll be a sacrifice to "the God of Song." But if he himself had a past as an idol, will we hear him sing at some time in the second season? And what will Rina have to say about Yuki being used the same way she herself was?

I need a reminder; what episode does Rina sing "Sound of Destiny" in its full form again?

Yeah, random person. I think her purpose was to show that he'll use that term for any girl that helps him in some way.

I kind of doubt she will. Seemed more like a 'one-shot'. When's season '2' starting up?

Maybe it's just the "hobo hat" that the Yayoi-lookalike girl is wearing, but I get the strong impression she stole Yuki's gift before she returned the empty package to Touya. The fact that we see the empty package with nothing in the velvet holder also contributes to the impression I got.

Did she in fact steal Yuki's gift?

Or Yuki gave the most metal gift of all to begin with

Wow, I didn't see that.

You might be right! Now perhaps, that's something to look forward to in S2. I'm getting tired of Yuki and Touya's development and the only thing that drives me is the progress b/w his (Touya's) relationship w/ his father, his relationship w/ Akira and Haruka, and that "random girl who stole the gift"

anyone else think that the father's sickness was thrown in there for plot

when i watched the episode i was all like 'oh cool so now they're both going to be faithful' and then the dude gets sick and yuki is stuck waiting on a phone that hasn't been set up and it's all like 'awwww wtf'

I don't know if the father getting sick was in the game or not. But it does seem like a plot device to bridge the two seasons and all of that. Now, if Touya learns and grows from what happens to his father and uses that to help himself with Yuki I would say it was done well.. but I doubt that will happen. Parents don't give much help in this genre, so yeah.

I was actually debating that. Should I watch the first season again or should I wait til its all over and watch the whole thing from beginning to end?

I'm gonna be doing the second option, mainly because i remember quite a lot of the first season, so it's not like i need to recap on what's happened. Will just enjoy a nice marathon next year.

I'm sure there is some stuff we've forgotten. But it is still fresh since it left a deep impression. I'm going to go with option two but that's because I'm watching other stuff, like Darker than Black, and Heroes will be returning next week too.

Or they'll just end up using this thread. Not sure what will happen.
