I've been wanting to pick up the two volumes of Ilis myself for quite some time now. It's just that I'm unsure if having to read through Hyouketsu Kyoukai no Eden is required as they may share similar concepts and ideas, so I've been putting it off.
You can read about reviews/opinions on both volumes here and here. On a sidenote, for those who read Kuro no Hiera Glaphicos: Kuro no Hiera Glaphicos: La Cronica del Ahmad -蜜月の終わり、雨の日に- Short story by Ureshino Akihiko for Kuro no Hiera Glaphicos, published on FB Online. For those who follow the series, they might be interested to check this out.

Finished reading Tasogare-iro no Uta-tsukai vol 1 by Sazane Kei last night, and while it wasn't much more than a gender-reversed Harry Potter, it was still reasonably entertaining. Not sure if I'll get the remaining 9 novels in the series, though.

I'm willing to give Strike the Blood a thumbs up. The story isn't developed enough yet, but there's really good potential. Speaking of which, xBakaChanx's signature has a picture of the Princess in the story.

Magic Wars eh. That's the character your avatar is from.
I've been keeping an eye on it (read V1 and V2), but I haven't been as impressed with it as Strike the Blood. For some reason, I just don't really care about the heroine's adventure to save her brother. The story I'm more interested in is the strained relationship between the MC and his brother. |

jokes aside, the series do start off kind of slow for me, like vol 1 is basically just an introduction for the protagonist to get into the world of magic, I won't say its a great read but its not a bad read either. ( Only read up to vol 2 *shot*)

Time to take a bit of a break from all these medieval fantasy series I'm following and start on Butterfly x Breakdown! Admittedly, the premise sounds silly, but the reviews for it have been favorable for the most part so I'm in.
And if I may be shallow about it, the girls are just so cute. <3

Has anyone ever read 飛べない蝶と空の鯱 by Teshima Fuminori? What drew my attention was the gorgeous cover, admittedly (that and the author is working on a new series for Ichijinsha Bunko as well), but after looking around I see that this one has a lot of high praises and scores going for it. I'm curious if anyone has read it and what their personal opinions are of this new series?
