We're getting off-topic here. Anyway, I think the episode is much better than the first episode. However, there are still some problems with the episode mainly with the battles between the Gundams and grunts, and talks between the Gundam pilots but hopefully fixed in the DVD version. It was interesting to see political views and a zero-sum game among the three factions.
I wouldn't mind seeing another mecha trying to damage Exia as it is the target. That Haro reminds me of R2-D2 in terms of functionality and purpose. |

And IMO the stuff pink-chan and Mr. Red say are actually pretty funny... This orange POS is simply annoying.

Now that I watch ep. 02 again, you're right about this Haro being awfully annoying compared to SEED and Destiny Haros. This series has much more potential than SEED and Destiny, but I hope it doesn't go to a downward after ep. 26 finishes and then break time for the series.

Since we are on the topic of the Haro...
I don't mind the Haro, but I find it some what "anti-climactic" (if that term is applicable), to have the oldest of the four "Gundam Miesters" using it. It's purpose seems very logical and so forth, but at the same time it would have been wickedly sick if they had some kinda super AI replacing the Haro. I think that it takes away from the character himself, making them seem not serious, or I don't know what the right way of saying it is, but it doesn't suit my taste at all. Hopefully they'll have some kinda scenario that involves him giving it to someone else. I guess it goes without saying that Lockon Stratos is the unofficial mission leader(?). I also find it interesting how some of the characters and their Gundams have interconnected names, or complimentary if you want to use a better definition. |

Out of all of the nations the HRA appears to have the most versatile/varianted mobile Suit.
From the previews for next episode, it'll be interesting to see the high mobility Tieren compete against the Exia. |

These things are confusing. They keep going HRE, HRA, and HRL. Maybe I'll jus stick with HRL. Subbers are driving me nuts and I read something about it's changed or something.

Alright your confusing me.
You argued that there are only two Tieren types despite the fact that up to now we've seen 4 types. that makes it pretty versatile. A ground pounding heavily armored unit that can go from short to long range combat with various weapons, a long ranged artillery unit, a fast attack type, and a space type. And in regards to the Exia fighting the high mobility type, I'd think the grunt's doing something decent if he can get up that close and grab it's head and engage it with its combat blade. |

I thought the Flag , or whatever its called, with the spinning blade as a shield was quite interesting. I think it even blocked Kyrios' beam shots in the OP.
But I wonder how that kind of shield can repel a close-range weapon like a sword. |
