Shirahoshi just can't catch a break.
Luffy's like a bottomless pit when it comes to food. New info about the Navy big shots was interesting. Hordy and his crew suffered some interesting consequences of those steroid pills. At least we got to hear some new info about the pills.

On the subject of Blackbeard, it was not too surprising. They set it up that way during the Marinefold arc, so nothing shocking. We already saw him stealing devil fruit powers from Whitebeard, but we did not realize that he could steal more. My only concern is what happened to Whitebeard's crew? Marco is quite powerful himself to just suddenly disappear. The other guy I'm really curious to know about is Aokiji. Where did he go? What is he up to? Will he eventually join one of the good royal families or maybe even the resistence?

Regarding the remnants of the Whitebeard pirates, surely they're still around because if they weren't that would have been big news already announced to the world. Aokiji's whereabouts and status are something to think about, indeed. Him leaving the marines was a big loss for them and the World Government. Someone so powerful that could potentially become their enemy certainly doesn't put both parties at ease.

i guess we'll find out in the upcoming op movie z. it's supposed to be canon since oda himself wrote it. but even if it's not completely canon, at least we'd get to see aokiji again after the time skip.

Wow, that was an epic episode, even though there were no fight scenes. Luffy has just declared war on the Big Mam pirates. LOL, actually, when I think about it, he'll probably declare war on all the emperors... well, maybe Shanks will be more of a mutual respect opponent.
Now, the only question that remains is that if the treasure was truly given up, or because of Big Mam's response, they still get to keep the treasure? Nami will not be happy if they gave up the treasure.

Certainly just like Luffy to deal with one problem, before picking a fight with a much bigger one. Certainly it's too dangerous to leave that island under the 'protection' of Big Mam. Time for Luffy himself to step up and start protecting territories like Whitebeard did. Plus he's already gotten a feel for taking down Warlords so time to go after some Emperor's .
Hopefully they can bring some of the treasure back or they might not survive Nami's wrath long enough to face any further enemies . Still a good episode. Gives something to look forward to.

Love how they animated Luffy's reaction to Mr Peakom's face when he lowers his shades, hilarious! (btw if anyone finds a great animated gif of luffy's face during that moment...I would be ever grateful)

The discussion of Jimbei with Neptune was pretty funny from the viewers point of view, intended I'm sure
Oh boy though, looking forward to vice admiral Smoker and captain Tashigi (run in with Zoro anyone??). ON TO THE NEW WORLD! Timeskip was one of the best things that could have happened to OP. |

Nose-pp kun *giggles*
Good episode, great seeing the white chase Smoker loved how Luffy pointed out that he would probably do the same as Big Mama if it were Meat instead of sweets. Best part of the episode was Jimbie and Neptune's conversation.

Well you knew they were going to get owned by Nami for giving up the treasure . Though to be fair they are going to go and fight Big Mam eventually anyways so the treasure should be there .
But that's Jimbei for you. Got to do things properly. So first have to break things off with Big Mam before he can join Luffy. Hopefully he doesn't get himself into any trouble along the way. Looks like just getting through the first challenge will be tough. With Smoker ready and waiting for the Straw Hats to come on through. Should be alright since now with Haki, Luffy should be able to actually hit Smoker.

I thought they'll never get off that fisman island..
Luffy challenging Big Mam was not a good idea. That Decken is just so annoying. He doesn't seems to know when to quit. Those Marines sure were taken off guard. Suddenly being surrounded by pirates. Although those G-5 guys look pretty dangerous.
