That's been unfortunate, and a common occurrence in my experience.

That ep was kinda interesting...hmm...Queens of old, eh? I wonder if Vivio will also somehow "awaken" to old memories? So Nove is Subaru's younger sister, eh? Was nice to see Subaru and Teanu as well. So for the three queens we have Einhart, Vivio and the young girl in a...coma I guess? The one named Ix.

Anyhoo, I like Einhart as a character, and also really like Mamiko Noto's VA work here - for some reason it really clicks with me.

Did anyone notice Vivio's 100-meter dash display gave Usain Bolt's world record? (Usain Bolt 100m; 9.58s, wind +0.9m/s, World Championships Germany 2009)
She's fast...

These are things you can only learn from material outside the anime series themselves, but readers of the Vivid manga (and by extension watchers of the Vivid anime) were expected to know them by now. I can go into a bit more detail, under tags.

Spoiler for StrikerS Soundstage X and Side-Story Material:

Will say I'm looking forward to seeing where they go with Einhart. Or at the very least looking forward to an eventual showdown with Vivio. Be a good way to see just where Vivio is in terms of skills right now.

Its always nice to see more Teana and Subaru, they are my favorites in the series.

But I'm surprised Subaru works for the library now, I'm gonna assume they're referring to the infinite library.

Its also great to see more adult Fate and Nanoha the time line progression is one of the things I really like about Nanoha.

But these episodes seem so short I always want more, wanted to see Vivio and Einhart meet.

I'm liking this so far. I find it just a little interesting how Einhart differs from Vivio, with Vivio being a full clone of the ancient king but having, as far as I can tell, no memory of her original, while Einhart is a very distant descendant who thus likely only has a small piece inherited from the Hegemon, but possesses a very thorough memory. Not sure whether a battle between the two would really prove anything. You can't prove the relative strength of the kings without both genetics and memories intact; Vivio is academically, developmentally and psychologically just a little girl with practically nothing to do with Olivie, while Einhart is just a girl with just as little connection to the Hegemon on a biological/genetic standing.

On a side note, I too didn't really feel Mamiko Noto's voice really fit with a 12-year-old character. Her voice works great with the mature version, but it's just too low, deep and mature for a kid like that. Kaori Mizuhashi's voice seems maybe a little too much the same whether Vivio's an adult or a child, but she could still easily pass for either, but Noto's voice always sounds like at least a teenager a couple years older.

According to some posters I've read, the current set of subs have so many glaring errors and inconsistencies that you may as well just watch it raw, and I can concur with that assessment - for instance, leaving out names when they're mentioned in speech.

The word she used was not the standard word for library that I'm familiar with in Japanese. I'm not sure of the accuracy of the translation there, because Subaru still works in Disaster Prevention and Rescue.

She used Shoubochou (消防庁), can be translated as "Fire Deparment" or "Fire and Disaster Management Agency" so I guess that is the Rescue Corps.

Well I tend to rewrite Nanoha subs... also was able to replace a lot Saint Queen with (the wrong gender word) Sankt Kaiser.

Last thread - A-1 won't change any animation lol
Next Ep - Changed OP animation to make it better.

For example, ass. We should have more outrage about not showing girlass (and rant when they show manass in a show aimed at providing fanservice of female characters.)

Impossible for them! Honestly, most of A-1 Pictures' staff are busy working on Nanoha ViVid, so therefore you have terrible animation they're working on for Gunslinger Stratos and Denpa Kyoushi.

But back to the topic, glad that Nove took Einhart back to the Nakajima residence after getting her ass kicked by Einhart's alter-ego. You don’t want Einhart-chan being molested in the middle of the night…

Meanwhile, gotta love that scene where Fate, Nanoha, and Vivio are bathing together... How nice and lovely!

sooo..... I actually planned to watch Vivid for a breather... but somehow they managed to hook me back
Seeing Teana, Fate, Nanoha, and Subaru again are a blessing for the fans *they even include the fanservice properly!*

the battle scene is also very improved comparing to StrikerS

Vivio's voice sounds weird but it is okay... and Einhart is using Kotomi's voice...

anyway, looking forward for future reunion with Riot Force 6 members

ah! and also! I miss to hear Nana Mizuki's voice in the opening and Yukari Tamura's voice in the ending
only Nanoha series could make this happened!

That said this episode was..okay. Not enough Vivio for my liking but the fight scene was nice enough.
Highschool DxD is an entirely different series though. Fanservice in that show is actually part of the plot.

irrelevant, DxD only airs uncensored on a subscription satellite channel, that is why it is uncensored.

Hmm, while I do like Noto's voice, she always sounds around the same which sort of makes it sounds funnier. I guess she's trying to be extra serious with Einhart or something. Interestingly, you get that thing from Fate initally way back when. I mean Einhart has made a good first impression though with the fight and looks though.

The episode was better than expected, I would say. Wasn't much filler and even "that" scene wasn't overly long either.

Random You are far more patient about this then I am. I've gotten to the point that I feel if one hasn't taken the time to research the past events of an obvious sequel to a long running series then they shouldn't be watching...
