Anyway, this series is so mediocre but still entertaining. You know exactly when we'll get a shonen declaration and when some twist is coming. And the ill placed ecchi is always a laugh too.

No time skip, not even a year. Because this island poses so much threat to their lives, I don't believe they can go even a week before an incident happens.

Yeah, this isn't a series where a major time skip is applicable. There is too much going on each day to skip weeks at a time. They could skip a couple of days, to heal the and everything so they can run from a new monster, lol. Plus we'd miss so much fun, it'd be better to see the harem country grow a little than just be complete.

Kouhei wants Akira to let go of him to repent for what he did but Akira refuses. Kouhei stays behind and hopes the best for his friends. It's assume he drowns along with his followers. Later Yarai & Akira has a serious discussion where he concludes they have to "built their own nation" aka make a permanent settlement for safety since with their current situation (you know with the prehistoric island thing and animals and such), rescue may or may not come. Yarai leaves with the sensei again and Akira takes Yarai's advice where he and the group find someplace where they can stay safe. And behold, they find another group of survivors who manage to built a fort and thought of the same thing. Looks like someone wants keep the school an "ideal place" and kills anyone that threatens the status quo. PS. Mina might still be alive., since the culprit only knock her out. __________________

Anyway here's the rundown on chapter 39 Spoiler for c39: Akira manages to find Mina (despite the school residents having no interest to find her) who is tied up and bleeding unconscious and about to be attack by a pack of wolves until the packs leader, a bigger wolf with scars (which i shall hereby name it "Scar" coz the wolf looks cool!) decides to call it off and leave them. We also find out the reason Mina acted like a bitch to the school idea as she never had a good experience going to school (she found it boring and factory like) and but she also warns that there's something wrong with the school settlement. Akira realizes it too and cause a scene: break the settlement walls! In my opinion i think he's trying to draw out the culprit who attacked Mina with his stunt and at same time trying to make everyone at the settlement realize they all been living in a dream and pretending nothing bad is happening (hence why nobody bother to help him find Mina) and wake up and face reality. PS:How many of you think the wolves lead by Scar might become future allies of Akira? I hope so. EDIT: chp 40 just came out. Spoiler for c40: So it turns out the culprit wasn't the school prez but the teachers themselves and he was able to prove they were the one responsible since (except for Akira's group) only the culprits knew that Mina's a "boy". And the students kick the teachers out! Realizing how much of a bunch of jerks their teacher were(turns out they wanted to make the boys slaves and the girls theirs), the settlement settlers decides to make Akira their new leader since he's honest!
