I'm so seeing this be a "non-ending reset-arama" ... but Izumi FTW simply because it has been several bad years of no "childhood friend" result..... lets see...... Lamune (simply because it didn't even pretend to be anything else) is the only one I can think of, Kanon doesn't count because he was childhood friends with half the freaking candidate list.

Just focus on the wacky hijinks and don't get fired up about any actual result....

I'm not too familiar with home remedies for colds but I'm curious as to how shoving a leek up your butt is supposed to cure you. Kemeko and Hayaskawa seemed really eager to try it out.

A lot of references in this episode but the one that caught my attention was that Kemeko was wearing an nWo t-shirt in the end. Is that referring to the New World Order (NWO) from WCW, the old tv wrestling show? or does it mean something else in Japan?

One more thing... what the heck is puri purin?

Most likely reference to WCW, wrestling is pretty popular in Japan including wrestling from the U.S. also I've seen NWO reference in other anime and manga like in Ultimate Muscle/Kinnikuman.

A Ryoko spotlight this time around, including a fancy new outfit. I thought the old sleeveless shirt and shorts was a better combo for swordfighting, but the cape does admittedly have a certain charm to it. Sanpeita bled rainbows when slammed by Ryoko, and Ryoko herself got almost orgasmic over sweets. Kinda nice seeing her finally get some airtime after her mostly staying off to the side thus far. Kemeko was on the sidelines for most of the episode, but the scene after the end credits with MM trying to cool her tongue was cute.

Izumi and the Kobayashis only had cameo appearances, but I continue to find Izumi's determination amusing to watch.

And after several weeks of early summer vacation, to the beach we go!

Well even with the lack of Kemeko for most of the time I really liked this episode...probably a lot more than the previous one. Izumi must not rank that high for me then :/

But it seems like Ryoko is now and outcast the evil company. Though that fighting uniform is quite awesome ^^'

YES they NEED more Ryouko love , so damn sexy she is. I'm also glad she got a little spotlight for a moment. The action was solid too, but the enemy she was fighting was kinda gay. I just wish the encoding was better, the episodes always look kinda grainy[StrikeS vers anyway]. Now alls we need is a Haya-only episode .

So that's his name . I recognized his voice from ToS when he played Kratos, but never knew his name. And that music they were playing was from a FMP trailer. Awesome lulz!

Spoiler for Kemeko 09 - Neko Mimi Meido: Part 2:

Beach episode! The sun! The sea! The...I'm sure everyone knows the lines by now.

Eneus in Macademi had done a good job providing my animal-eared meido quotient of the season up to now, but now it's time for Kemeko to get in on the game. Miura appeared this epiosde - Misaki's older sister with catgirl ears and a meido outfit. Recognized Mamiko Noto as voicing her almost immediately.

M.M. spent most of this episode out of Kemeko for a change, so lots of cute Haruka Tomatsu voice work. Now if only there was a way to schedule an Eneus vs. Miura fight.

Next week: Festivals, fireworks and EPIC PILLOW FIGHTS.

My gosh how many references were there in this episode!
Not only is Miura related to Eneus (right down the the very mop weapon she uses) I also caught a line which is taken from Soul Eater ^^

And wow is this an awesome episode. Like most beach episodes, the fanservice was rich though thank god they didn't play to much attention to bouncing breasts.

MM getting some development showing how much she is depending on Kemeko with Sanpeitan trying to get her out of that dependence. I loved the scene where MM was ready to fight and picked up the sword only to have it snap off at the handle the next second. But if it wasn't for that surprise then Sanpeitan wouldn't have turned into "ROFLCHOPTER" to fly out of the cave.

Though what is really surprising is finding out that Miura is Misaki's elder sister...harem +1 it seems.

Actually...I am more shocked that Ryouko gave up her first(?) kiss????...
