What you think about that is completely irrelevant to the question of Scarletknive since he asked for specific advice for ranking top-500. Hence your reply to his question was somewhat strange.

I guess if you're trying to save on bauxite/resources 5 fast CVLs (RJ, Chitose/Chiyoda and the Shouhou-class) + 1CAV is one way I could think of, but at the exchange of more defensive power since CVLs can't really soak up much damage (as it is carriers in general shouldn't be taking too much hits in order to be effective).

Other than that probably placing a CLT or two might help if you want to cut down on bauxite usage, but you will probably want to consider getting AS+ on node H and the boss node and maximizing the probability to sink all enemy ships during the airstrike thus avoiding the need for shelling (and getting damaged by surface action especially by the BBs in the boss node).

As for the CAV as drum carriers... Ooyodo/Yuubari will do actually, but CAVs tend to have better survivability in my books.

There's also the option of using a submarine fleet, but if you want to S-rank everything along the way the CV/L fleet might be a more attractive option.

I chose to save baux with two CLT. It also allow me to rotate CV/L more often.

You can recoup part of the bauxite usage by sending your (F)BB/CA/CV(L) drops from 5-4 runs to 2-2 before scrapping them. You're guaranteed to hit a bauxite node and you can clear the daily world 2 quest as well.

Next maintenance will feature Asashio kai ni. Furthermore, she will have a special conversion form, which is kai ni hinoto (改二丁).

Considering they usual schedule maintenance on monday, wednesday or friday and that they specifically stated she would be implemented on June in an earlier announcement, it will most likely be on monday 27th or wednesday 29th.

Tried to rank this month and finished all EOs.

Out of resource though, at 1450+ points and I perhaps started a little late - only beginning to seriously rank on 10th June (and I was overseas for 3 days so that affected me a lot).

Looking forward to finding out what she'll wear on the left strap. Folks on the Bahamut forum noted that Kasumi and Ooshio wore a headlight and Daihatsu respectively on theirs, and Asashio would most likely continue the trend as well =3
