That's not Oriko. Didn't you read the first 8 pages of the chapter available? Oriko is the white Magical girl. The green-haired kid Kyoko is taking care of is called Yuma. Yuma is the girl Oriko and Kyubey are looking for because Oriko saw her in a vision of the future (Oriko = Oracle). It seems Oriko thinks Yuma would be helpful in the fight against Walpurgis.

Ah... yes, I confused their names.

Edit: More pics have come out. It seems Yuma has healing abilities and, as the other pics have suggested, she's close with Kyouko. It seems Yuma also lost her parents, and Kyouko is intending to raise her to survive. It also seems Mami tried to approach Homura, but Homura told her to stay away from them (i.e. Homura, Madoka, and Sayaka).

Seems that right now, to prevent confusion, we do need to put up an array of pictures of the new characters matched to their names.

Maybe it's just the character designs, but this manga really brings out the insanity in Homura.

Huh... is Madoka completely out of the picture? If she is, this is indeed one strange timeline, since Homura is almost directly linked to Madoka.

I'd say it brings out the insanity in ALL of them. Magica Quartet must have known what they were doing when they hired a Touhou artist.

Seems like Yuma has a past as troubled as all the others. Can't say anything about Kirika, though. Kyouko sets my heart melting even more. Brazen or not, she sure knows how to look after little girls (tearjerking memories and implications follow

).
Also, Iit's odd how Oriko isn't the first to get fanart, she looks damn gorgeous in her PM outfit.

Is there any info on how the manga is selling?

I'm pretty sure an earlier scan we saw somewhere showed her. Either way her role is likely (no certainty here) to be minimal, though.

Edit: I was right. Key Board posted it here; the scan in the top right of that image, among others, shows her. Not much of her as far as I can tell, though.

Yes, some manga don't get a serilization so they manga gets released in whole volumes especially if they are very short or grantees to make a profit.

The Madoka Magica Manga was the same way whole volumes released on different dates.
