You just made me realize that I've been doing that. Like:

-- Vandam I tells of the aftermath of Tabane messing around with an entire region to increase the popularity of her invention. The prologue then set-ups an overview of a hugely changed world inspired by the representatives in canon.

-- Each "Rider" in the SHOOTiNG ST@R Initiative have in some way been touched/corrupted by Tabane: Riselle was a junior idol to Tabane once, Gin's family was altered by the events of the Caliphate and Vandam, Celeste is a Schwarzehase, Erika was drafted by Tabane into SHOOTiNG ST@R to pay for the damages to public property. Even the idols from Kougami-P under Tsubomi would not have come into being if Tabane didn't try to bail out the failing agency and turn it into a technological powerhouse built around a whacked-out idea.

-- The Uchikengers were forced into the limelight by the Anti-IS Proliferation Treaty, which Tabane had a hand in influencing its creation, a fanatic cult of Susanoo which Tabane has some beef with, and on top of that a group of guerillas bent on destroying Japan and its IS technology (ironically, it is discovered that Tabane had a hand in helping the guerillas as they were guinea pigs for Tabane's next invention).

-- The Ginga Fairies will showcase [REDACTED] reacting to Tabane's meddling in the world that has increased the amount of [REDACTED] on the planet to the point of warranting intervention.

The only "silliness" I've ignored in the setting is the focus on harem. By moving the camera off to the side, I get to feast on the processes which allowed canon to come to be, then make something crazy out of it.

That is quite the hangover that Ichika's suffering. His body feel like it has been beaten by hammer by someone. And he can't even move his arms!

"I shouldn't have test them with alcohol...But where is them?"

To answer Ichika's question, a loud snore could be heard from the pile of blanket that is next to him.

(Just don't be what I'm thinking!)

"Hey...Wahhh!"

"Ichika-nii, it's too early!"

"You dimwit! Can't I just sleep in peace!"

Like a typical horror story, rising from the blanket is a certain black hair girl. One of her eyes is crimson, and the another is black. But what is most astonishing, is the fact that is she bare of any cloth.

"Hey, dimwit, lay down and let me sleep!"

"Stop it, Chifuyu-nee, you must ask like this: "
Ichika-nee, do you want to eat me for breakfast?"

"I'm not a slut!"

"Chifuyu, Madoka...What happened last night?"

As soon as the question is brought out, Ichika knows that something is wrong. The girl turn her head toward him and say in a creppy, chorusly tone.

"You don't remember anything? Are you not going to take responbility for what you've done?"

"Yeah...I guess?"

"You BASTARD!"

"Ichika-nii, I must really, really punish you."

And that's how the 99th time Ichika was beaten near death by his twin-personalities little sister started.

This could have been a heart-warming scene - A brother with his little sister wraps her arms around his neck - if that sister isn't trying to choke her nii-chan.

"I don't know. They haven't done with rebuilding everything that you thrashed." A bit of Venom in the end of the sentence. The little girl could only turn her head away in embrassment.

"That is because you was staying on the bed with a girl!"

"Note: That is Tatenashi-san, and she just poking fun at me."

"Yeah...And if that girl dare to do that, or get you massage her naked, I will crush her head like an orange." Is this a devil, or a girl with brother complex? Either way, every of Ichika's muscles cringed with this.

"How...did you know that I messaged her?"

"Sister Intitution."

(Yeah! Or you just stalked me.)

"Ouch!"

"Dimwit! You've just thinking bad about me, did you?"

Let's see... Imagine you're a genderbended clone of someone, envy with the real one life. Then, the real one die. Could you adopt another persona, a different sex to be precise?

"Why don't you make a contract with me..." Tabane cooed as she slowly turned to face the small girl. "...and become an idol?"

Within small cupped hands was a ring tipped with a ruby the size of a walnut.

"Say, tell me, what is your wish?" Shinonono asked.

However...!

As the garage door trawled out, light fell upon the STR@TOBiKE IS slumbering within.

A dragon made of pitch black machine parts rears its head to a cracked sky.

...She is covered entirely in black metal?!

A small girl in black uniform walks out of school, the tag on her blouse identifying her as Tainaka Yuuko.

"...not like my father..."

That small girl picked up her phone and nods along to the request being made.

"...but..."

A golem dropped out of the sky and flattened a parked car. As footsteps approached, the machine turned to face the newcomer.

"...I definitely will become the last hope!"

"Henshin!"

[RUBY! Pleeease.]

And the screen turned dark.

That image is actually because I typed magical girl detective into google, then the G gods reminded me of a certain... girl.

Scrapped the image because it was too distracting. The real clues are: Black metal, my father, and her name being TAINAKA Yuuko.

"...And you make them?"

"I've known for 7 years that the Unknown will never leave us alone. Thus, I contacted the Government and started this project."

"Then...Why didn't you tell me about this? Why did you lie to me that you have been researching about space?"

"I...IS is designed for space exploration. At least that was what Oka-san intended."

"Oka-san? You don't mean..."

"I found a blueprint of IS in her computer. Maybe it's because that you're her son that Lumine choose you."

"Lumine?"

"That is your IS' name, "Lumine", or "Light" in Latin. Mother designed it."

"Ik-kun...Are you all right?" Tabane is the first one to break the heavy silence that have casted down between the two siblings.

"...No..."

"I sorry...Please understand, Ik-kun, I do all of this for you!"

"I understan, but...just give me a minute..."

Without further word, Lumine rocket toward the tip of the fallen tower, much to Tabane's sadness and guilt.

Moe Moe Kyun! Cafe, a maid cafe at Block 47, Ikebukuro. It is (still) run by a Afrikans lady named Gainan Rondobelle. She's in her late 80s and still spunky as hell. Has watched Yuuko grow up, especially after her father, Tainaka Tarou, disappeared during the Vandam War in 2016. Some recurring clients at the shop include Yuuko's classmates and interesting characters like Yaburo Hideki, his cyborg girlfriend Lal, and someone named Ral-san.

Trivia - This cafe appears in all my Toaru fics and the epicenter for the school idols No Hokago Kohi! in those fics. Yaburo Hideki is a skyship pilot in Toaru under the command of Kataru Tsubomi, Tainaka Tarou's other childhood friend. Which is to be expected since SS MAGi is a subtle crossover with my Toaru fic. :>

Meister Babylon = Magical Girls, Super Sentai and Kamen Rider specialist. Trademark is creating an idol group/amateur band in every one of them as side or main characters.

I also dabble in some side projects involving sci-fi, like a Star Trek Online fic, Audacious Space Traders, Strike Witches: Enterprise, etc.

My Hidan no Aria fic is pretty much about James Bond Jr. See here.
