My impressions of the first part are positive: Sakurako and her sisters do manage to make for a touching story on their own, even without the eccentricities of the main cast.

The second half was a little more dramatic than the first, but no less touching for it. I miss the Yuru Yuri days, perhaps it's time to rewatch this series anew.
