Honestly for me 2020 is already so strong... 2019 already feeling pretty shaky even though it was a good year with Dororo, Demon Slayer, etc. I mean: Kaguya -> Rikei, Somali for fantasy, Nekopara for the fluff, Bofuri, In/Spectre, ID, Dorohedoro...

Should I watch... Miru Tights?
I'm pretty happy with the results. Though I'm unable to see Fruits Basket as slice of life, I'm glad it won something. Vinland Saga deservedly won a lot of categories. Also, I didn't vote for Miss Ueono, because I don't feel guilty enough for liking it. I'd probably have voted for it had it ended up in "comedy". I'm oddly picky with categories, aren't I? It's not like it matters much, and I should just vote for a show I like. |

Only thing that disappoints me is Boogiepop not winning anything, since to me it was the anime of the year. Vinland Saga is still a mighty fine choice though.
The two VAs that won were by far and away my top choices. They really stood out this year, especially Naoya Uchida who kinda came out of nowhere.

Personal thanks to Haak for creating the threads, and felix for the awesome voting tool and organising the entire thing.
Anyway I'm very happy to see Vinland Saga dominating this year's poll. He's been a voice actor for a while now though. He's done a lot of small roles like the captain of Nahel Arghama in Gundam Unicorn, but also big roles likeUchiha Madara in Naruto. But his Askeladd is definitely a standout performance.

Making the threads, formatting and everything, is also a giant pain in the ass.

On the other hand, Aoi Yuki has been extremely popular for years, and for good reasons of course. She just outdid herself this year with Boogiepop. I loved her performance as Suishou in Granbelm as well.

Suishou is not her first villain performance but most memorable for me personally, and it is kind of ironic considering she voiced Madoka and now received the main role in the new PreCure.
