2 use to be the obvious choice, but I am getting tired with light right now, and that's killing my motivation.
4 is water, which is my main team. But I have 1 already, and I have four Meug in hand so MA rate is not a problem. So getting 4 isn't as rewarding as it may be.
9 feels like what can give my wind team a boost the most. But I am 1.5 harp done and well have 3 harps done in a few month. So I won't need 9 to hit the cap very soon. I also runs a Omega sword team using both Sparta and Lan chan, so my MA rate is high enough even without 9. So I am not that motivated either.

So yeah, no idea what I want.
And I have even less interest in Juutenshu outside these three.

Coma is broken, that alone is reason enough for 9. It's not just damage, but you force the boss to skip triggers and turns. Add that she also has perma echo if opponent has charm with her EMP passive and your team takes less damage when tuning is up...she's insane along with her abi 4 and shiva combo. I haven't even 5*d mine yet and it's such adps increase by mashing more mindlessly.

After that the next best to get would be 4 due to extend/MA shenanigans and also because forfeit is dumb. Tons of utility in one package.

2 is...well nothing but damage boost and para right now and newer raids these days have para resist mostly for certain timings/phases where her worth isn't as good as it used to be outside of deprav and her crit ougi.

Depends on what element you main.
The Sun is the top choice for fire.
The Hanged Man is best for Earth. He also has a nice active that can be used with other element.

trying my hand at 10, for the 10% TH effect, see the whole shop's upgrade weapons, was reminded of why i never bother to try in the 1st place.

Maining elements is a thing of the past. But for argument's sake, what summon would go best with Varuna grids?

It isn't for Arcarum. Because most of their powerful active effects are element specific.
The Sun's overtly broken double action buff only works on fire character for example.

Varuna? You want damage or maintenance?

In that case, just pick the relevant summon with the extra damage sub aura. For water, it is Moon.
For reference sake, for the rest of the elements, it is:
-Fire: Sun
-Wind: Judgment
-Earth: Hanged Man

While Light and Dark only have 1 choice. Star and Death respectively.

All my light friends are moving to other elements because Light playsytle is boring

9 has 100% uptime btw and the utility she has is indispensable.

I've been working on Judgement FLB for 2 months and I just hit halfway.


Also IMO Water Varuna benefits more from Justice as it balances party HP and makes to manage it with Sage instead of wasting a potion or Heal All/Panacea for just 1 character.

Just some random thoughts I had for a while when I see people making such kind of comment: It is always funny how people can call "X element is boring to play" when every single element works the same as in buff and just mash.
The few differences lie wherever it is stamina or enmity based on what weapons are available and the juutenshu to a certain degree, and that's about it. Wind and Earth are an evidence of that: have enough crit/stamina/enmity weapons and you will just mash them together instead of worrying about a semblance of "playstyle".

Talking about "playstyle" in a turn based RPG with little interactions from the player is kind of a nonsense. Moreso when the only objective for every player is to "deal as much damage as possible as fast as possible", based on modifiers, DATA and extra damage buffs.
Unless the game finally branch to other stuff like an element specialized in reliably disabling a boss or safely destroying it through dots and whatnot, the concept of "styles" is borderline preposterous.

That being said, it is painfully obvious the difference is more in line with how "easier" it is to achieve the best DPS with certain elements compared to others. But then again, it is a balance issue, not style issue.
