the anime will eventually catch the manga regardless togashi comes back or not from his hiatus, my hope its that it goes the saint seiya route, where the anime got ahead of the manga in a cononic way(unlike FMA or soul eater), because at this pace togashi its not gonna live long enough to give an end to the series.

I'm late to the party. So Paku's death was somewhat sad and Hisoka's face was priceless.
Now , Greed Island arc. I don't really remember what happens in details in this arc too but i do remember the girl ^^ Things will be funny. |

Kurapika left..
Mr. Battera got his hands on all the copies of Greed island. The audition for players was interesting. Killua passed with flying colors and so did Gon. That was totally expected though. I'm glad this arc is finally starting! Been waiting for this ^^

That was nice of the guy to help Killua sort out his thoughts. Figures Ging would leave a message, but didn't think he'd outright say that playing the game has nothing to do with finding his location.

Not any time soon, no, but at this pace he WILL die before finishing it.
Also I was just speaking hypothetically. I suspect though that the anime will keep following the manga right up to the point where it's at right now. I mean, that IS a good point to end a series at. |

there are 2 reasons that had been said for his breaks, first prevent what happened to him when working in yu yu hakusho, second to be with his family, i certainly can't prove that those reasons are the truth, but i doubt neither you can deny it either, also im not refering to him dying from illnes, if you take into notice the man is nearly 47 and the pace he had been releasing the manga, he migth as well retire before beign able to en the series, with a proper ending at least.

As to why that happened, there's a bunch of rumors, ranging from lost motivation to what is probably the most prominent one: his editor/Shounen Jump wanted him to make the final arc more like DBZ which he didn't appreciate and thus just ended it. So now in order to make up for it they treat him like a god who can come and go as he pleases. |

well what i knew was a little different, apparently he overworked so much in yu yu hakusho that all the stress took its toll on its health, but like vicious said, its editor seemed to had pushed him too much, and yu yu hakusho crearly didnt had a proper ending, the thing is that he took it too far, its quite clear he takes breaks to play dragin quests games, and the last one beign an MMO its probably why he has been more than one year off, i dont think thats wrong he should just be honest, like kentaro miura who clearly says hes taking breaks to play idolmaster.
