I disagree, at least if they manage to include some of the food stuff. The japanese really love their food. AFAIK on syosetsu isekai series with food are at the minimum on par with isekai series with ecchi.

Also smartphone relies too much on 2000-2010 era slapstick comedy, which is already long outdated and people don't seem to like that much anymore. "Guilty!" scenes in Death March are much more tame in comparison.

for smartphone i think it just like another harem another world. it good but it normal for me. the plot is just die because of god, and send to another world with op.

the way satou treats the girl around him. it normal for him because he 30+year old inside 17 body year old. it normal for him to treats the girl10+year old like childen.

after MC can use high-class magic the story begin boring. he appear, everything solve. just like saitama(one punch man)

in my point of view this story like pokemon. MC travel new land and capture new girl(pokemon).

i am really curious..... why author-san has to make sugar behave like that with his "harem"?....
what is the reason behind that? in the story 's plot ...of course....
why author-san have to make aze that is sugar main interest...not the main heroine...and we just being told that she being visited by sugar off screen regularly 1 per 3 days.. but never more than that....
is the author san just trying to trolling us?

Might have something to do with the "goddess" who cursed him to only attract lolis. That curse might have some effect on his mind as well.

2018 will be a great year for anime. Death March, Tate no Yuusha, Index III, Steins;Gate 0, Fate/stay night: Heaven's Feel movies, Code Geass Resurrection(maybe?), Overlord S2.

Heck, there's even a Professor Layton anime.

Just finished Yen Press' LN3.

You guys weren't kidding that this is a cooking series.

About 1/3rd of the volume was cooking.

It was delicious.
