Skyfall is his third movie. so technically he can quit after that. but consider Bond 24 is planned for 2014 and so far Craig not interested to quit. pretty sure Craig will back for bond 24. http://www.guardian.co.uk/film/2012/...yfall-followup http://www.entertainmentwise.com/new...ever-Quit-Bond there is talk that they want him continue to bond 28. but we will see http://news.sky.com/story/910345/dan...ore-bond-films

Damn that looks good, altho I do think that trailer gives away way too much but I don't really care, it's got Bond, it's got explosions, it's got car chases, it's got the ladies and it's got Q back!
Looking forward to this alot.

Hopefully will be better than Quantum of Solace, particularly because it came after the excellent Casino Royale. Though I really miss the older Bond movies that dealt with the KGB and Russians. Terrorists feel pretty lacking as antagonists compared to Russians

Since the Russians were no more, I think we had our share of antagonists who were very convincing. But I agree the producers could use more facts from the global political status to create the antagonists. In the Pierce Brosnan era, if we count out 006 who was sublime, I also appreciated enemies like a media mogul pushing the vision of William Randolph Hearst to a new limit ("You provide me the war, I'll provide you the pictures") or a North Korean colonel since it matched the political reality of the time(and even from today). Right now, the most threatening elements in the world are in the Middle East with all the crap going on over there, whether we like it or not. Why not try working out something from there, I wonder? We had East Germans, drug cartels, rogue Americans, vile businessmen and even a former MI6 agent as antagonists over the years. |

Oh man, James Bond! I totally didn't realize a new movie was coming out..
I now have my office talking about Golden Eye (both movie and game) and the infamous one-liners! "..Why, I thought Christmas only came.. once a year.." In commemoration, I will marathon all the Sean Connery movies (followed on separate dates by the Roger Moore and then Pierce Brosnan ones) again! Oh yeah baby, Dr. No! EDIT: On a side note, I went and watched the first few episodes of "Archer" -- oh boy, it's foul.. but hilarious.. |
