Highschool Comedy

hey guys, i was just wondering if you knew of any high school comedies. it can include whatever you want, like action, or whatever, and comedy does not have to be a category, if you saw it and thought it was funny thats fine...thanks...but please don't include anything like guy becomes girl, like thats a bit freaky no offense...lol

some that i saw and really loved are:

yea, thanks, also, please only give suggestion with anime designs like the ones i mentioned, i dont like the big eyes, and some faces of some of the anime like in karin, or kanon, or bokuro ga ita, i did not like those animation styles, so please try to refrain from giving suggestions with that design, only if possible though, if you think that the anime was damn funny even with the design, that would fine too...thanks a lot.

You might want to try watching Tokimeki Memorial ~ Only Love. High school life (as always just like the other TokiMemos), has comedy, and has romance

Not exactly High School, but check out Minami-ke. one of my personal favorite comedy series of all time.

for starters Azumanga Daioh (All female cast+1 Perv)

Ouran High School Host Club (A commoner involved with rich people)

And perhaps Honey & Clover

The first two are main themed awesome comedies, Ouran has a touch of romance to it.

The later would be a great comedy but with more Drama/Slice of Life.

And lastly I'll add Cromartie High if you really like "random humor with your brain turned off" kind of anime. (It's about an all boys delinquent school)

I'm watching Lucky Star at the moment, and it's a hilarious "slice of life" type comedy, with a huge moe cast of female characters, and really great voice acting. I'd definitely suggest it if you liked FMP: FUMOFFU.

Hayate no Gotoku! is chock-full of hilarious parodies, from every genre and time period. From Evangelion to Gurren Lagann parodies, it has so many you'd seriously have to be a huge otaku to understand half the jokes they put in there. Seriously. Though people complain about fillers and lack of plot, it doesn't really need one because it's comedy show that doesn't take itself seriously and is hilarious for it. Nothing funnier than a character arguing with the narrator.

Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei ...not to sure if this qualifies as "school life", but it does take place in a school with the main character being a teacher

i thought it was very funny....the characters were lovable, it had unique animation style, and it made fun of all the "anime stereotypes"....

plus it has a second season....

shuffle! is pretty good.. cept for the ending lol.. its very conventional for the first half of the series, sometimes u might not want something too different. a good show nonetheless.

Well it's the same animation group that did Kanon, but Clannad runs the gambit of themes plenty comedy and some touching stories as well. I was dying at the end of watching the 15 episode last night because it was pretty darn funny, as well when I first saw a few episodes with some friends, we couldn't stop laughing . The animation didn't seem as distracting as it was in say Air. I'd give it an episode or two and see if you enjoy it.

Ouran High School Host Club.. yeah it's got the big, shojo eyes, but it's so HILARIOUS that you can easily get past that. it's by far the funniest anime I have ever seen.

I second ouran high school host club. i have very similiar tastes, fmp, school rumble. you will definetly love ouran... admittedly theres not much romance in it, but it is simply hilarious
