The weird thing is, that is also a great portrayal of the Tony - Pepper relationship. Tony is a genius, but Pepper is what keeps him grounded. Tony relied on Jarvis alot, but he needs Pepper much more. In fact what made him more independent in IM3 isn't that he lost most of his tools, but that he lost direct contact with Pepper.

A bit late but I watched. I see many came to a similar conclusion as me. I found it better than Iron Man 2 but worse than Iron Man 1. The villain was kind of forgettable despite his powers and Tony was not at his best (what happened with The Avengers' Iron Man?)
