just want to see how many people have had some not that good times in the states. i went down there 2 days ago on a school trip and 1 B**** said that all Canadians Suck and this other real JACK*** said that Canadians should not even be allowed in the country. btw im a Canadian and damn pround of it. I know that not all americans are bad i have met some really nice americans but 2 idiots in one day just made me want to destroy something

Humm.. I could understand your disgust at the ignorance of some people... but this thread is too vulnerable to become a flame war. Never the less...

I myself have been living in American for the last 10 years or so. Originally from Korea, I heard of lot of things and took action like a fool when I was short-tempered back in the days of high school and middle school.

One of the times I could remember was in high school when a kid and his friend looked my way as I was walking by and told me the infamous words "Go back to your country, you fucking chink!". Not a very good idea considering I hate being called chinese stereotypes when I'm not chinese. So I went by and asked him what he had said. Once he told me the same once again... well... it's pretty funny how his so called friend was afraid to help him out when his friend was knocked on the floor moaning in pain.

Yes, it was foolish and immature of me to resort to violence(I would not do the same again at my current age/state of mentality) but I didn't have much self control back then. After that day, the people I knew and even some people I didn't know, spat at him(along with other equally bad things) and made his life pretty miserable. I didn't ask them to do this of course, but they did it anyway. I was one of those kids that hung out with not just asian people but with people of many different origin so making an enemy of me was really not a good idea.

So the question is... did I kick his ass because he was an american? No.

Did he say those things to me because he was an american? No.

He was just a racist... it had nothing to do with his race. It was just his personality.

I am now a Korean-American. I am proud to be both.

Things i dont like about america:
-The average Joe is smarter then president shrub
-40% of the population are jackass or soon to be jackasses
-We almost impeached clintion when he had Normal sex with a woman but when our current shrub was molested by turkey, he is still in office
- A person on a diet either eats nothing or 2 double cheese, super sized frys, and 4 cookies along with a small diet coke
- ALL THAT FOOD AND THEY BLAME THE FAT ON SODA! FOR THE LOVE BUDDHA_ WHAT HAS HAPPNED!
- there are no red eyed girls
- it doesnt rain enough in arizona
- some will ban from soda just smite me some time soon in my life
- we have so many cocky bastards around here

Sadly, most Americans don't really care anything about Canada.

I'm gonna have to agree that this thread is totally flame bait material. I think every country has their share of pricks, not just the United States. I don't think it's only just an American problem.

Just out of curiousity, what part of America did you visit? I'm sorry you had such a bad experiance.

I'm not sure what the deal is with American's making fun of Canadians. It would be cool if Canadian's made more fun of us back instead of just having hurt feelings.

well, I'm azn born azn... and I've been living in the states south to north (mainly westcoast from Arizona to Washington), and so far my experiences have been pleasant ones.. My visit to the east coast last week was also pleasant as well..

couple years back, while walking down the streets in SD with a friend, a couple of caucasians passed by us, 1 of them explicitly said, "I hate asians" for no reason... had I lose my temper... surely there's been a blood bath, but then i was young and violent.
