I do know that a part of his brain was fried. But what if she really could pull that out?

By the way, I recall someone else here stated there are two different types of memories. Could you find that post and read it through? I'm pretty sure it's somewhere in Railgun sub-forum.

Yeah it just doesn't make sense, why would she have back up of memories Toumas memories? How could she know he was going to have his memories destroyed? All she can do if she really knew Touma before memory wipe is tell him a few things.

Problem is, he might find it hard to accept. Misaki already mentioned that it's not worth talking "when have he met her" to an 'amnesia' guy like him, and might end up being angry of her because of that 'relationship' thing (sounds like a red string of fate?

). Whether it don't make sense or not, there maybe something that motivates her to do that "memory transfer" thing, if she really had to. Maybe about him "made an important promise with her in the past" or something like that.

They are already married... because of academy city laws people can marry as soon as they are biologically capable of reproduction. This increases the number of children born into the city who can be experi .... educated and turned into espers. Touma lost his memory when Misaki was away at a LVL 5 organization meeting and when she got back obviously read his mind to make sure he wasn't fooling around. Not only did she find out he was fooling around with a nun but his head was as blank as a 1 month old....

When was this? I read that in a doujin once but I don't think that happened in the actual story anywhere.

I apologize, I tried to write something completely nutty and didn't think to put the /sarc thing on it. Nothing in that post was true, It was just a blind crack theory.

As for just telling him there are many reasons for that. She could, like Index, be aware that the Kamijou Touma that she knew is already gone. Or she may not want to burden him with something that couldn't be helped. In this situation he may feel horrible if they were close (rom/nom-rom whichever) and he forgot about her and his actions saddened her. But the feelings and memories are no longer there so the relationship would still be over or starting anew. Given her ability I'm guessing she knows the person she knew is gone but still wants to talk to him because the core of him is still the same. Well that's just another crack theory there are a lot of reasons to keep quiet.

How much you betting part of the reason she's keeping closes tabs on him is that she looking for a good opportunity to win him over and 'reconnect' using her ability to save him?

in Volume 7 Misaki used her powers quite the way we wanted (doing everything with the girl of small boobs) and although Touma complained he was not really angry, he even considered the fact that she use her power to manipulate several people to search spiritual item. Touma understands how useful is her power. I think the problem was much more serious, she must have done something with someone very close to him, if she tried something like this with the Index, she would be beaten (probably)
