Well, it would seem I was wrong on all accounts that the MG OOQ scrapping parts from the MG Exia.

At least, after the dissappointment that was the PG OO and MG The O, Bandai manage to get something right.

But for those willing to take their chances, I would wager that there will be a Burst edition that completes the current kit with LEDs and Bits effects.

Or one could just wait for the MG OO.

I know the MG Exia has problems with the leg, but how are the 00 Qan[T]'s legs the same as the MG Exia?

If you're talking about the hip - thigh connectors those are the only things I see that are similar between the MG Exia and the MG 00 Qan[T], and on mine they're just about the stiffest things to move ever, so much so that I'm afraid of breaking them when I move them

The one part I see that's loose on the MG Exia are the ankles, which makes the thing hard to dynamically pose standing up without a base.

Yeah, the ankles were a pain but when I displayed my Exia on a display base with a dynamic pose, I found out that the waist joint won't stay put. The upper section keeps on drooping down due to the weight of the GN sword!

It looks much better in real life because there's a lot more green flowery nature on it. I like this depiction.

In the anime it was just COLORS OVERLOAD!!!!!!!! and was just fabulously weird.

Nice build of the HGUC Sinanju there, might grab one myself.

Question: What'd you use for the Sinanju's gold trim?

Aaah. Well, I try to avoid stickers as much as I could since they come off easily in exposed places, so probably I want to paint it myself. Also, the challenge of painting the Sinanju's trim is exactly why I want it

Someone should paint the white part of the boosters gold, like the rest of the Sinanju. That white...just throws the whole thing off.

It looks good, BUT for a PG it still has those ugly dull yellow parts instead of the shiney gold parts like the MG version. I mean, what's up with that?

I guess if people really want that gold shiney look to the inner frame they will just have to spend some time and work to get it how they desire.

Do you know how much of a pain it would be to paint those parts?

Chrome, on this scale, will drives up the pricing to astronomical values. Basides, if not well taken care off, the gold platings will degenerate with age.

thanks for the pics Makube, although the inner frame looks superb, the amount of none plated parts just kinda make this kit looks cheap, it looks no different than my MG SFFB version.

i mean for 25000 yen (around 300 US these days), you expect a bit more than that, i think the MG even outdoes it in terms of plated to non plated parts ratio ><

While I agree about the price-to-quanlity aspect, there's also reasons why a number of model enthusiasts hates chrome.

For one, Chrome are hard to replace in the case of accidents resulting in breakage and scratches and, as I have said, they tend to degrade with age.

Its not a pain if your determined to do it. Yes there is a lot of parts but once you get going its pretty easy to do one part after another.. Look at the pro's on how they do it, i bet they make it look easy. People have to explore there minds and be creative yeah you can have this inner frame that looks dull but that is up to you. I don't see why you wouldn't put the time and effort if you are going to buy a PG.
