Now i don't know if this theory was said around here before so i'll say it. Doesn't it feel like Qrow is "Death" ? Like the horseman ? He could be the scarecrow (being tied to Ozpin's inner circle and all) but the Scythe his bird form (being a crow) and the "bad luck" following him around it seems to me he is death in some manner.
Thought's on it ?

This kinda makes me sad.

During the beginnings of RWBY, Monty has wished that his concept would go big.
Fast forward to today, RWBY has aired in Japan, dubbed by famous seiyuu, had a manga and game adaptation, and now gets a fighting game from the same developers as Blazblue.

How far RWBY has come.

They're getting a lot better working with Maya. They'll get there eventually from a technical and choreography standpoint. There's no more of that jittery motion lacking in key frames that kind of plagued Volume 3 and the first half of Volume 4 for obvious reasons. So much more smoother now.

Story wise... Myrtenaster looked unwieldy on her, as if she looks like she isn't used to fighting with it. Since this is pre-scar flashback, I'm guessing this was probably when she just started to really train under her sister and most likely with her now signature weapon.

Weiss and Winter look SO GOOD. I'm so glad that as each season passes, you see the noticeable differences in quality. Hope the action choreography will someday catch up.

I might spoiling fun, but I am not impressed. Both Weiss fight with Knight and Ruby fight with wolfs were much more dynamic, especially that distant shot felt like I am watching old 2D fighting game. Well if it's indeed one of her first fights before she learned how to do it, I guess it would make sense it didn't look that well, but then again RT could rather pick some more exciting battle scene to do then.

Well I am looking forward new season anyway.
