Does help that it was one incredibly stupid looking hair style. Easily wins the award for the worst hair style in the Macross universe.

I've noticed all the Sheryl information and how her character has been changed to accommodate the new story line, but there hasn't been any Ranka characterization news. Does anybody else find that rather strange?

Doesn't the movie come out on the 21st?

Yeah...it is kind of weird. It could be that the first movie will be focused on Sheryl, while the second will be more Rankacentric. Who knows?

(Well, besides the staff and cast, that is.

Yeah, that's my best bet as well. I'm curious how they're going to change Ranka's character up.

I don't really think that the second movie will be more Ranka-centric, nor that the first one will really be totally Sheryl-centric. As I said some days before, we haven't seen squat of the secondary characters, so proportions are out of whack anyway.

As I said, it was just a guess...none of us really knows what's really going on with even the first movie, so none of us has any idea why they haven't said much about Ranka yet.

That too. But, since I don't understand japanese (yet, God willing), I have to wait until some kind soul subs the darned thing for me... so, getting to the 21st and getting a hang of the spoilers is going to have to do, for a while.
