There will only be 5,000 of them made in the initial shipment (due to Chinese New Year in Februrary). So far, all Japanese online stores have already maxed out their preorders. And this is 4 months before the release date.

Let's see how hard it'll be for the average oversea Joe otaku to get one of these on release date.

Hmm.. since there's talk of Bubba's Haruhi...
Heres the progress I'm making on two of them I've been working on. This past weekend, I just about completed the guitars:

It's built by a fellow modeler from another forum. The music is actually coming from the little stage the guy built. Using some old speakers, he built the speaker on off switch and volume control into the mini stage, added an ipod nano and the little wooden dowel you see him pushing at the beginning of the video presses the play on the ipod and plays the music. The amp and mic stand are scratch built. It's a very cool display... he's just missing yuki and the two actual band members to complete the scene.
