awsome job with blending the render with the backround but if you want a shinyer render XD lol shinyer then duplicate the render the got to filters>blur>gaussian blur>then set the radius to 2 then hit ok then set the blending mode to soft light~

I can see you have a genial drift (eh ?) of the filters, you do soft sigs, genial bg's... yeah, you use the right colors on the sigs I love the sig of the tut you do, Saber + Echo sig = the win...

Yeah, i make alot of soft sigs. It's kinda my style atm, i'm trying out new BG's and stuff now though, gets boring after a while ^^, thanks for the comment

Well..you should see the vid tut i made whle i was making that, lets just say i was so confused about what i was doing..Should have rehersed.

Just trying something out, tried NOT to make a soft sig this time..and look..it turns out to be VERY soft, drat.
The quality isn't as well as i wanted it to be, but the 50k limit..
Anyway, I know the borders go suck and the background on the little bar thing at the bottom sucks ALOT

I'm desperately trying to come up of a new sig style i can use, it's so hard >.<. My past styles have failed me so far, this style is proberly the style which i can do best, it's just too soft though T_T

You have any suggestions?

as for your latest sig & style... not bad... the text could use a bit better blending... also, u should check out Kina's jagged edge tut. in the sig/ava tutioral thread... that and/or try to get a cleaner render cut/out...

My suggestion? ok, don't cry XD ~~ When you use filters, don't use only the Ripple, use varius filters in one layer, erase... don't put it only in blend modes. You can do the sigs like the @ darkjester's currently one, 350x140 is fine. Use C4Ds, use filters with it... use gradients ^_^ ~~

Erm..i do use C4D's...I use gradients....and spatter...and glass.....and...well the list goes on. Ripple is the only one that shows up the mos, but alot of my sigs i use glass effects and the odd spatter filter.

I cut the render out in about 2mins, so it's a bad quality cut. Nothing i can do to get rid of the jagged edges.

I've been using alot of stock images recently, I don't tend to work as much on the BG on stock images as i would with a render, normally i could use effect like different clouds, spatter and glass for my backgrounds. Oh, not to forget some brushes.

This is the vid tut i made the other day with voice overs, I hate it so therfore i'm not going to post this up into the stick tutorial thread :P
