The question is what happens after it? They're already scrapping the barrel of popular manga ...

I've only watched Honey and Clover and now I'm starting up on Psycho Pass and loving it as well, so I guess I don't have much to go on, but I'm all for more anime like those two.

Spoiler for Honey and Clover:

OK, two NoitaminA shows this Summer: Gin no Saji and another one that we don't have the title for yet.

Also two Fall NoitaminA shows will be announced this July. Both will be original anime.

Ah damn, I was hoping that Golden Time would be one of the fall noitaminA shows.
It's great to hear that they're not cutting half the block like people were suggesting though.

I bet Fantasista Doll will most likely premiere on noitaminA since it's a Toho anime, and as far fall shows goes, they could end up being Space Dandy and Kill La Kill.

Fantasista Doll and Kill La Kill are the last things I would want on noitaminA, personally.

Even if those things were going to happen, I think it would be a bit too soon.

Although I think Tsuritama ended perfectly. Not that I would mind more but sometimes you shouldn't mess with perfection.

I know people who would become incredibly angry if this were to ever happen.
Personally I think the noitaminA block really isn't for shows like Psycho-Pass or Guilty Crown...

I love the idea of original shows, so in the end that's good news. But I can't help but think Otoyomegatari would be a superb fit for NoitaminA.

I kinda like this idea for some reason. Sadly when it comes to shows like these I feel that it's easy for me to miss the bigger picture of the whole thing and fail to fully appreciate it for what it is, especially by the ending but that just happens the first time I see it. The only thing iirc that I felt a bit let down on was that mole-girl didn't do so much (if not anything of significant importance), but then again it's been a while since I saw the show after all.

Assuming it's a series that's been announced already, I'd say Genshiken Nidaime and Servant x Service would be the best fit, though Genshiken would be kinda weird since the first two seasons weren't on noitaminA.

I'd rather have more Psycho-Pass. Tsuritama was the perfect 12-episode show, and it should stay a 12-episode show.

I loved Tsuritama but it was a complete series with a beginning, middle, and end.
A second series wouldn't really have the same impact and would just dilute the brand.

It is good to see that they're keeping the hour slot, and I am wondering what the other show is going to be. I hope it's going to be something that's "Noitamina-ish"!
Unless of course it's a repeat of something?

Strictly based on theme and creative staff, Uchōten Kazoku is probably the best fit.

And I've come around on the idea of a Tsuritama II. Yes, the first one was close to flawless for a full-length series - but there's plenty of life left in the characters. And with the staff so enthusiastically affectionate towards the material, there's no reason to think that a second season couldn't be outstanding as long as the same writer/director team is involved.

It would just be fanservice material to fanboys such as yourself. I highly doubt they would introduce another alien that the cast will have to fish out of the water.

Since we're talking about the barrels of popular josei manga, I'm quite curious why they've yet to animate Tramps Like Us. It did get a live-action though... There's also Suppli and Moyoco Anno's Happy Mania. Wasn't Hataraki Man (the anime) a success in terms of viewership?

There is also March Comes in Like A Lion, considering the success of Honey & Clover.

I know it's not Josei but still a good fit for the block.
