Episode 50 should pit Blaster Blade/Alfred/Soul Saver Dragon against Phantom Blaster Dragon. I wonder if they will try to both out-"Final Turn" each other.

I think Aichi will try to pull a Final Turn but he'll fail. After that, Kai will pull a Final Turn and finish Aichi with his former key card (Blaster Blade)

It's probably because Aichi "forgot" how to play without relying on Psyqualia, so we may see an episode or two focusing on his revival before the nationals.

I don't see how Alfred Early would be as good as the normal Alfred unless there are more skills that it has that he didn't use. Superior calling blaster blade from the soul doesn't seem all that good.

I'm actually not that impressed by King of Knights Alfred. Gancelot has a counter-blast that gains him Power+5000/critical+1, but we never see it in action.

But yeah, getting Blaster Blade out of the soul was just for the symbolism. Unless maybe he wanted to get rid of intercept-capable Blaster Dark with Blaster Blade's counter-blast?

Pretty much that.
Blaster blade's counterblast is really quite good.
But it was mostly for plot's sake.
And I think this makes 2 rare cards given to Aichi by Kai. (If Alfred early is still in the deck)

It's supposed to be Aichi's deck, so it was probably there when Aichi dropped it. (He does get grade 3s discreetly these days.)

I thought he actually won with his deck lol... (when I watched the preview that is)

Good Riddance Kai that shows how not to lose with Royal Paladin, back to Kagero style genocide! (Maybe Aichi is still gonna lose lots with Royal Paladin, but better than creepo Aichi.
