A flash in the sky...and dark shadows land around Mabiko, who takes a fighting stance. The new presence alerts the familiars as more shadow land around the five. Knocking aside two of the shadows with a graceful backflip kick, Mabiko lands next to her familiars fully armoring and with Kusanagi and Murakumo drawn. Her familiars arm up as well and all 6 strike out into the shadows as one.

Mabiko is seen fighting through the shadows as her blades flash forward, behind her and stabs one jumping from above and slinging it off into another one behind while kicking one in front of her as she strikes a pose. In the reflection of the blade, we see Yuuki's battle.

You seem like a burning matador as I watch you

Yuuki is shown leaping into the air rapidly kicking multiple shadows in her jump arc as she lands on her hands and goes into a spinning split kick. She stops the spin and lands with her right leg crouched and the left leg stretched straight as she glares at her next target and leaps toward the it, revealing Leticia in the background behind her.

My chest races as a dazzling dance is done

Leticia fights hand to hand as she changes head parts, firing a barrage of magic bullets about before turning around and changing head gears to unleash an shockwave air blade as she caught three trying to ambush her. Executing a backflip while shifting head gears again, a pair of homing magic bolts was unleashed into the cluster of shadows as she landed staring through the explosion. Off the side of her head gear muzzle flashes were reflected as the view turns to Mikoto.

An episode stained by the color of time that will never come again.

Mikoto sidesteps a blow as she unleashes a single shot into the shadow before changing to a blade arm to parry a blow and slash back as she slides backwards some and then charges forward with an Ice Gauntlet, freezing and shattering her opponent in slow motion. Through the fragments we see Fox Chaser shots refracted as Feena is doing her own dance of death.

As the guitar plays the enflamed thoughts

Feena is keeping a clean circle around herself as three Fox Chasers arc and curve around her, forcing the shadows back for the moment. But then the shadows surge forward faster than Feena can dispatch them with the Fox Chasers. However, Feena does not flinch as she spread her arms, the orbs on her gauntlets and hip armor glow in affirmation as a triple beam lances out from Feena in the form of Trinity Buster. As the line of fire clears, a large shield could be seen as Erika slams the shield arm into a nearby opponent to continue fighting.

Erika swaps the shield arm for a thunder gauntlet as she kicks one back and slams the gauntlet into the ground for a lightning bolt fissure. Blocking a blow, she changes arms midswing into a flaming punch as the burning opponent is knocked back and into multiple people by the sheer force. Erika punches her fists together as all six converge back to back as the view spirals into the sky to show the horde of black around the 6.

One of the shadows seems to do a hand motion as larger shadows appear within the ranks and a single large one lurks in the distance.

Mabiko throws out Kusanagi and Murakumo and extends a temporary barrier field as the girls assume formation.

The orb of light shatters, sending shadows reeling as a large being of light wields large versions Kusanagi and Murakumo takes flight.

The larger shadows strike out at the light, but are slashed aside by Kusanagi and Murakumo as it makes contact with the large shadow, the impact turning the night into blinding day. When the light completely blinds the screen, it zooms out to Mabiko and the girls looking into the starry sky from the white roof of the base.

As we look closer into the sky, we see a battle happening in the air and ground in a wasteland against the Einst. We see Phantom Squad and Mabiko regroup as the Einst continue to spawn around them. Mabiko looks over her shoulder as Brevis looks back and flashes a thumbs up. The group then breaks out and resumes the action.

As you search for your dreams you reach the ends of the wasteland

Brevis dodges boney boomerangs and drives his left arm into an Einst Knochen, firing off all 4 jackhammers in sync as he spins around and shears off another Knochen's head with his right arm's Pincer Claw along with another Knochen's body diagonally with his Energy Horn and firing the claw's multi-barrel gun at another Knochen while in momentum before stopping and unleashing Schrapnell Schuetze as rifle shots hit the Einst closing in behind him, showing Cressida flying by and blasting them.

Yume wo miteru watashi wa ima, kodoku no umi
The dreaming me is now the lonely sea

Cressida flies between some Einst Glied as she entangles one with her rifles barbed tail ín a Demon Bind and blasts a hole in another before swinging the entangled Glied into some Knochen. Spiraling into the air she fires her howling launcher downwards as planty tentacles seize and restrain her, only to be cut loose by a leaping Vinson in a single stroke, his broadsword drawn.

Taking steps with black shoes

Landing, Vinson rushes through the hordes of Knochen and Glied, slicing and dicing with the various weapons modes as he runs into an Einst Gemuet, where changes to the broadsword mode and cleaves it in half vertically. As we see the Gemuet split in half from behind, Vinson finds himself surrounded. Then a magma dragon worms through the einst and consumes them as Liana joins Vinson in the circle.

Let us heal this sadness together

Liana smacks a Knochen away while shooting a Glied as Seiryuu Hazanken whips about as though it were Liana's tail. Grabbing Vinson by the arm and leaping into the sky, a magic formation appears underneath them as a giant rock appears through it and crushes a good number of Einst.

Travelers, if you still wander in the night

As the dust clears, the giant rock shatters as a Einst Regisseur rises.

As it turns into a struggle war, Mabiko seems to scream as she unleashes a breaker-class spell, overpowering the struggle and blasting through Einst Regissuer.

A flash as the scenery changes, showing a ruined base as an evilly smirking Maouko squares off against her familiars in addition to Arrowhead Squadron. the screen is halved as within Maouko's mind, Mabiko faces down Maouko as well. Yuuki and her sister strike first, closing the distance while maintaining formation, activating their booster devices to even the score as they try to surround Maouko. Maouko merely dodges and weaves as she sends each familiar flying back with a single hit each. Mabiko and Arrowhead squadron seem to charge at the same time, creating a deadlock as the familiars gather themselves together and call down what seemed to be punishment from above as a pillar of light blinds the screen.

In what seems to be a background of flaming inferno, Mabiko struggles to stand as she props herself up with one of her blades.

A pillar of light shines down diagonally towards Mabiko as she looks up to see Maouko descending towards her, a smile on her face as the screen fades.

Suddenly the black screen seems to shatter as Arrowhead Squadron leads a charge through the einst, leaving a trail of explosions.

Mabiko and Maouko seem to be weaving in mid-air as the familiars create a barrier protecting them, energy beams lancing and impacting on the barrier as the sisters struggle to intercept.

Mabiko and Maouko finish the spell just as the barrier dissipates, unleashing huge blast that tears away the shadows and revealing the true final boss?

As the teams regroup, they go in for one final charge. As a sound off, each squad member begins their strongest ranged attack.

As the sound off finishes, Mabiko, Maouko, and the familiars form up for the final attack.

The 7-unit formation seems to form a diamond shaped heart as they generate a huge energy ball in the center of the formation.

The final boss tries to shoot a matching blast as the formation attack is unleashed. For a moment it seems that the girls vanish into the beam shot...

The blast subsides as the formation dives through the final boss and out the other side into the starlit sky twinkling.

And to be fair it's really a redux of the end of the OG1 portion of SRW Original Generations, where Excellen Browning dressed up in a bunny uit and got ship captain Lefina Enfield to dress up in another bunny suit.

Actually, realism is one of the problems. When miltaku's aren't carefull, their stories can end up being too realistic, removing the fantasy elements and filling with a lot of technobable or military bable the rest will be left scratching their heads at. Stuff that would happen in the anime doesn't, and what wouldn't happen does, because it's more realistic.

Now, this doesn't happen all the time, but it does ocasionally.

At least there won't be hugeass half-baked 40k crossover port ideas. Or remember Kha's intentions to turn Voltaire into a mecha? Even a miltaku would look at Voltaire and go, "Okay, big dragon, how can Caro deploy Voltaire better for best usage?" and not "ZOMG VOLTAIRE IS A MECHADRAGON LULZ".

It started when Lowe made a device based on the Necron Lord staff. I immediately recognised it and pushed Lowe to ingrain the Necron into his character's background. Kha and I followed suit with several scenario's involving the Necron.

After that I started toying with the idea of the Adaptea, and pushed Kha into turning his cleric knights into the Nanoha version of the Space Marines, minus the mecha armor but plus the magic. Being on a role, we also started introducing the Eldar, though that never really got farther then one character. By this time, the terms Seiou had entered the series, and I was once again pushing Kha's ideas forward, turning the Seiou into the Nanoha version of the Emperor. By the time the Cradle was introduced I was rolling with laughter as canon practically gave us a Golden Throne, how could I pass up that oportunity to take another step in the 40kverse?

I thought it was just Lowe, because I repositioned towards the Grey-Knights and not Space Marines. I still know next to nothing of the GARest of Man, and my codex is outdated by 1 edition.

Not that I mind... The development of the Cleric-Knights is one of the few things that I'm quite impressed with. Now that I retrace back, I believe indeed it was you who gave me the inspiration, and Lowe pointing out Kha's similarities to a Grey Knight set me on the warpath that I only slowed. Doubt I'll ever reverse in steps.

Which reminds me, I wonder if anyone is interested in the Deathwatch... And should I make a marauding force that still haunts Ordered Space, purging the enemies of humanity, and are known only as the Legion of the Damned...

But Tk pointed out lots of errors and warnings about bringing in Necrons lock stock and barrel... Remarkably, it is the only faction that I ported that hasn't been extensively Rebuilt; Tyrannids appear as Spawn, with Xealot being an "escapee", Space Orks appear as WoW-inspired Space Orcs, Tau appear as a spacefaring race that descended from ancient Chinese who rode magical rockets into space and were now known as the Tang, even the Eldar became Japanese Oni-summoners known as Eta (and so I have to ignore Lingo's lone OC in that regard, or Rebuild him as well ); I think I should focus on the Necrons for now.



Just to clarify, I saw a Rune God in Voltaire, there's a difference between Mashin and lulmecha. Its just Caro's VA and SRW influence that I remade it into Ryujin instead, but everything else is more magical then machine.

The Necron themselves aren't that much trouble, teleporting into the midst of a battle is not unknown to Nanoha after all. The biggest problem is the C'tan, and how to explain them.

Hands off Akilae. I don't trust you enough That said though, he was entirely a crack fest to begin with considering I didn't do anything with him, and is a cross over character more than anything else. Yeah, he would have to be massively altered to be anywhere near balanced.

Not just hands off; he completely does not fit being an Eta, and even his name doesn't fit in the cultural context. To be honest, my first course of action would've been to ignore him, but I don't know if it'll sit well with you, especially with my promise to include everyone.
