I now wish to list questions left at the end of the Hellsing Anime (as the general populus only cares about finishing off Alexander) and if they are mentioned in the manga, my point is that I think that they should be in the second season (I don't think the two episodes where alucard kills alexander is a whole season):
1) What will Seras do as she is now a full draculina? 2) What is the Cromwell Initiative (I think that they talk about it in the manga {haven't read it}? 3) *Obvious* How will the battle Alucard vs. Alexander go? 4) *What is the Dark Continent?* (I really want to know this one) 5) Will they find the maker of the chip? 6) Will there be any more types of monsters? 7) What did Alucard do to frighten Incognito so much? Feel free to answer some of these guys, I do not read anything about manga or anime, I just watch and read and try to figure it out on my own (P.S. I also needed to join some forum so that I can argue with my friends about specific anime or manga without bs ing most of it.) Forgive me, I had more but cannot remember, I'll post them later Last edited by PatPeter; 2007-01-07 at 01:12. Reason: I forgot to mention I argue wit hmy friends |

1) For the original anime we'll never know. As for the manga and Ultimate...either read Vol 7 or wait for Ultimate to animate it. Just wait til you see what she does with someones head.
2) according to Wiki: Alucard's vast powers are controlled entirely by the heir to the Hellsing family (currently Integra Hellsing). This is apparently enforced by something called the "control art restriction system." There are shown to be six levels of restriction and six corresponding states, with lower numbers meaning greater levels of power. Under certain circumstances, Alucard can release some of his greater powers himself; a component of his restriction system called the "Cromwell Approval" seems to influence this (Cromwell probably relating to Oliver Cromwell, a famous figure in English history. Cromwell's name being used may be related to the fact that he was Protestant, like the Hellsing institute). Alucard can often be heard stating what level he is releasing immediately prior to combat ("Releasing control art restriction to level two"). This is, perhaps, a requirement of the release mechanism, but this has never been confirmed. Another possible reason is that it is to unnerve his opponents as he goes into battle, given what has been seen of his personality this is quite likely. 3) It's epic. and handled better since Anderson is overall better in the manga. 4) Africa 5) yep 6) More chip vampires, werwolves, and whatever else the real enemy cooked up. 7) answered already. Trust me when I say everything during and after the Valentine brothers will put the anime series to shame and make any complaints you have disapear. Vol. 1 definately was the weakest of the manga and it shows in Ultimate. |

Sweeeeeetness I was right on every question, I would just like to see them in the art of the anime (I really do not like the art of the OVA). And after watching the OVA again...yeah if the OVA gets to the point the anime was supposed to get to, with the entire courtyard of ghouls (watch the intro to anime) then I might watch it.
==>OK, I supposively, according to one friend, need more proof to prove this (right or wrong) but does Alucard use Divine Magic to kill Incognito, thus the white hair ect. ect? ==>ADD ON TO PREVIOS LIST: What demons does Alucard use? Other things my anime club and friends said: -Alexander is Scottish -I say he is Irish -The Nazis are somehow involved in the ghoul uprising -I really have nothing to say to that :P Things I cannot remember hearing, but argue about: -Incognito was a random end to the season as they could not come up with anything better, also that he looks stupid -I say: He summoed a friggin demon from hell, I WANT to see more of that. |

I don't know the details, but I do notice that Victoria in the OVA is a lot more comical looking than Gonzo's Victoria.

In the terms of this discussion, I think we can say that Lilith is the precurssor of all the humanoid monsters running amok.
So we can say that Icognito is a decendant of Lilith's lineage (from the Dark Continent). Alucard's obviously faced opponents from that place or at least heard about it enough to identify certain things. |
