Houki shook her head at her friend and took the seat by Erika. Curiosity had her peering over Karon's shoulder... And wished she hadn't.

"I wonder what these guys are smoking," she surmised.

"Meister Babylon's crack, I think," Erika laughed.

Then, she scrolled past a line talking about IchikaxTatenashi.

Karon suddenly sensed a tremendous aura of doom permate the room.

Houki hissed as fumes of darkness sprang from her darkened fringe. She looked up, and her eyes were glowing red with murder.

"Kii...!!" Erika squeaked in terror.

"ABANDON THREAD!" Ritsuko squeaked next. "ALL HANDS, ABANDON THREAD!!"

"Roger!"

Her ISper senses at full fwing, Karon launched into action. A quick flick tossed the page on to the end, and she stabbed the Next Thread button.

The fumes rapidly dissipated, and everyone left out a breath in relief.

Ritsuko then noted color rising up Houki's cheeks.

"Ano... What's going on now...?"

Karon just laughed sheepishly in reply. For as far as Erika could scroll, the screen was full of pictures taken from god-knows all over the campus. While some were really neat, others were rather disturbing, and some... really should not have made it on to the internet.

"Karon! Do something!!"

"Ah, yes!!"

The pilot stabbed the screen randomly, causing it to empty into another post. This time...

Almost done with Chapter 3 of Second Chance. Expect it to be up later today.

Its mostly just a copy of the rest of Chapter 1. I'm planning on skipping some scenes that most people know about to jump to the actual non-cannon parts.

@ Falcolobo- I plan it to be a couples version of the thing, if you've watched baka to test then you'll know. Besides, these are daydreams, they're supposed to be cliche.

As for OC abilities: Some grenades, a long range version of yukihira (kinda like miniature throwing knives that can smash through shields) and an overdrive mode (temporary power increase when pilot is near zero shield energy) are my suggestions

@Zero- I had to sleep early cause of fun run so I couldn't post here. Anyway, do you mind if I do a bonus "Madoka" chapter for "daydreams of maidens in love"

@Meister- How would Karon react to seeing herself paired with some child terrorist on these forums? Probably not good

Yamada Maya ran back to the door that closed off her classroom. She had left something in there and she needed it now. Yamada stood in front of the door as it slid open, sensing her presence.

“Ah! There it is!”

Maya said this as she walked to the desk that stood in front of the room, seemingly teaching the student desks that were in an army like formation in front of it.

Maya suddenly noticed a person.

This person had dark hair, but the rays of golden afternoon sunlight had made his hair appear a beautiful violet. The person’s eyes were a deep brown, warm and comforting. The person was wearing a strange uniform that didn’t register in Maya’s brain. The uniform was in the form of a blazer, but it was wider at the shoulders. A male uniform? Ah! It must be Orimura Ichika.

“Orimura-kun?” called out Maya uncertainly.

Ichika responded immediately, his head snapped to meet her eyes.

“Oh, Yamada-sensei, what are you doing here?”

“I-uh- left my notebook here! I remembered that I had forgotten it when I was creating tomorrow’s lesson plan. It had the necessary notes for the anti-graviton field that the IS creates by applying Newtonian physics and particle filters that work in conjunction to- Oh!”

Maya realized that she had started rambling.

“I’m so sorry!”

Maya apologized and quickly bowed.

From his distance away Ichika smiled warmly. He was fond of this energetic teacher.

Maya blushed, she quickly decided to change the subject.

“Isn’t class over today? Why are you still here sitting in the classroom?”

“Ah- I had something to do…”

Ichika responded by slightly staling, an action gone amiss to Maya.

“Do you have an after-school club?”

“No…I…had to think about a problem that I really want to solve.”

“Problem? Can you show it to me? Maybe I can help you solve it.”

Maya had thought that it was a problem as in a text book problem that a pupil of her own couldn’t solve alone. Maya walked over to Ichika’s desk.

“Umm- I’m not sure….”

Ichika replied hesitantly.

“No, please! I’m your sensei, I’m sure I can help”

“….”

“Orimura-kun?”

“My…problem is that I can’t express my feelings to a girl that has captivated me…”

Maya was taken off guard. She didn’t think by problem that he had meant THAT kind of problem.

“Uh, um, um….is that so?”

“Yes… and I was wondering how I could approach her?”

“Ano….I’m not very experienced there…but maybe approach her directly? So that you have no regrets later?”

A very cliché answer.

“You think that it will work?”

“I-uh-think it will.”

“Then…”

Ichika didn’t finish his sentence. He pushed back his seat. Uncharacteristically, his hands moved forward and grabbed Maya’s hands.

“Orimura-kun!?”

Maya’s voice was barely a whisper as her shock was indicated by the frequency of her statement. Her face became bright red.
“Yamada-sensei….I have always only had eyes for you…”

“Wh-wh-wha?”

“I’m sorry about such a direct, and cliché attempt, but I cannot let this go”

“Eek!”

Maya squeaked, and was shocked into silence.

Ichika slowly pushed Maya forward. The golden sunrays illuminated his face, showing a focused by gentle face. Maya was instantly entranced.

PONK!

The sound was created when Maya’s head gently hit the window. Ichika had pushed/led her to the edge of the classroom. The window now directly showed its beautiful rays onto Ichika’s upper body. Maya noticed his broad shoulders, his handsome face, and soft eyes. He seemed angelic.

“I can only think of you…ever since I met you that day…”

His voice was mesmerizing and deep. His hands held her own in a tender grip. Maya suddenly got hold of her senses.

“Orimura-kun! But we’re student and teacher!”

Ichika lightly laughed, a laugh that seemed to be like music to Maya’s ears.

“Please- cal me Ichika…and I’m sure love can overcome anything.”

Suddenly a hand let go of Maya’s as Ichika used a single finger to turn Maya’s head towards him.

“Wa-wa-wa!”

Maya was panicking.

Ichika softly breathed, “Please just accept me-”

Ichika leaned forward and slipped an arm around Maya’s body and held her into a close, warm embrace.

His lips met hers as suddenly the world melted away.

Maya’s eyes may have widened at some point but she closed them with this sensation.

Maya was living a dream come true! Such thoughts played over and over in her head.

Suddenly Maya felt a sense of vertigo, as Ichika’s hands suddenly…..

As I said, while he's not wimpy, he's still innocent and overall nice guy.

Anyway, can you make some retcon on Cecilia's reaction? By this point, Cecilia should already undergo some development.

And even though the insult is not directed to him, Ichika was there, and Ichika hates when a girl looking down/ insulted guys without clear reason (V3 shopping scene is one example).

(Though in my fanfic, I made it Ichika's berserk button)

As for throwing knife, sounds good, but only used as emergency weapon, I mean... IT'S A THROWING KNIFE! Which mean all-or-nothing.

(The same case with my non-canon Koyuki Type-1, although rather than knife, it's a dagger/ wakizashi)

Bonus chapter? Madoka? Why not! Considering Madoka is THE LEAST pervert of all girls (at this point, mind you...) it tend to be boring though

Unless you use canon version of Madoka, which is another story...

- Major or minor character? All characters need a bit of depth to them unless they're meant as one-shot comic relief (or cannon fodder). The depth usually helps in case you change your mind and flesh them out a bit more.

You could try a character who's actually got a boyfriend--a secret she's trying to hide from the other students and staf at IS Academy--which is why she's not after Ichika...just a suggestion
