Actually, when they use the crossover symbol, I expect either the universe or the characters to crossover. But right now, it can be anything, it might just be a hyped up trolling in a way (remember Sket Dance x Bakuman episodes? for those who has seen them) and the crossover may be very minor, so merely exchanging authors for the respective stories is not an implausible possibility.

However, when they say there are other stuff in the works, it seems like Fujimi and MF are forging an alliance.

Media Factory has recently joined Kadokawa Holdings since last year. As well, Sket Dance is best known (aside the parody and references from other series) for making any crossover episodes (first with Gintama, now with Bakuman).

Fujimi Fantasia Bunko and MF Bunko J are best known for having harem-centric romance (mostly action/fantasy packed) rather than more diverse titles like Dengeki Bunko and Sneaker Bunko titles has, however, there's some non-harem/romance titles in it (Slayers, Orphen and Full Metal Panic from Fujimi Fantasia Bunko and The Unbreakable Machine Doll from MF Bunko J are exemples).

Fujimi Fantasia Bunko is not harem centered. While there are harem themes, it's more fantasy. More than half of its titles have fantasy settings. I'd put it to around 60-70%.

Hopefully the relaxing piano themes from Season 1 not only returns, but are realease as a CD.....

Are any of the original cast memembers returning? Or are they doing the trend of "new season, new cast, new talent" that is the vogue these days?

Probably not, maybe I could have come close. However I try to spend my money on different characters. "Once I have something significant enough of that one favourite character, I will move to my next favourite character" is how I think, so my room is filled with all kinds of chars and merchandise. I'm working on the ultimate harem, so to say. :-P
