Are there any good asian rap groups? I love to hear rap in different languages and accents.
ketsumeishi : Tabibito . Rather slow compare to their other songs, but I like that very much.

aqua timez: Kibou no saku oka kara, dann cool song.

For American rap songs, the one I enjoy most is "mockingbird" by eminem.

Not sure all of those are considering as rap though

I like about 10% of rap.

The ying yang twins, Lil Jon, BoneCrusher, Lil Scrappy, Petey Pablo, Ludacris, Xzibit Cypress hill, Ice Cube. Trillville, then I just started getting into more JP-RAP: Rip slyme, and HALCALI if you can even consider them rap.

I certainly agree on his good taste although I prefer Jin's freestyles rather than "Learn Chinese" and most of the rest of his singles.

Basing and adding from SilentKnight's list, I like to listen to:

Aesop Rock
Atmosphere
Cannibal Ox
De La Soul
Deltron 3030
Dilated Peoples
Hieroglyphics
Jay Z (his early stuff)
Kanye West
MF Doom
Goodie mobb
EPMD
Pete Rock & CL Smooth
Redman's first two albums
Mobb Depp (before joining to G-Unit a.k.a G-Unot)
Jazzyfatnastees
Platinum Pied Pipers
D'Angelo
Akrobatik
J-Live
Little Brother
Masta Ace
Juelz Santana
M.E.D.

Crud, listed some soul as well. Ahhh well.

Jin's freestyles are pretty nuts, though most of the time partially written. (Off the top with a few written lines thrown into the mix)

I know his first album wasn't up to par with people's expectations, yet I didn't think it was that bad. I mean the single that was chosen "Learn Chinese" had much more of a negative effect than I thought. The entire album in itself wasn't all that bad. Not the craziest lyricism I've heard, but I'd take his album over a 50 Cent or Chingy album any day. (wait, that's a bad comparison....well, you get the point, it wasn't that bad)

His second album, The Emcee's Properganda was much more on point in terms of lyrical content and quality. Definitely worth checking out, since I believe a lot of people considered it to be one of the better rap albums of 2005 or 2004? Forgot which year it was released.

Any rap that sounds good is fine with me... but some out there are really stupid... and are just ugly to listen to.

As for j-rap, some titles by Home Made Kazoku and SOUL'd OUT are pretty nice.

I not really good at it. My rap sounds terrible, but other people like it when I rap. Couple of years ago, mimi_girl and I were trying to rap outside at the park. Couple of friend of ours like our rap. It was kind of a game we were playing. I still suck on rapping

Everyone sounds terrible at rapping when they first start off, because rap isn't one of those things that teachers can really give music lessons for. You kinda just have to figure everything out by yourself by experimenting and going through a series of trial and error, eventually developing your own unique style.

I've been rapping for about 6-8 years, it took me 3 years to start getting clever with my punchlines and wordchoice, and another 3 or more years to polish up and fully develop my flow.
