Aside from that...Makoto amazing as always...

You'll feel like it was over too quickly despite being more than two hours long probably.

Also if anyone thinks that Fujiwara didn't get Shishio properly in the second film, he more than makes up for it here.

I actually enjoyed the last film more than the first two. Fukuyama Masaharu was Seijuro Hiko personified, he was badass! He was my favorite in this film. The action sequences were much better than the first two installments as well. The epic match ups didn't disappoint.

^ You know, I actually got the impression that Makoto was stronger in the manga. At least, based on how he beat each of them.

He still didn't fight them all at the same time. Shishio has incredible stamina and strength, but then again so does Kenshin. When they fought each other Kenshin was so badly wounded already that he wasn't exactly in top shape.

Finally saw all three movies. This is how comic book adaptations should be done (Marvel take note!). I really hope they'll green light an adaptation of the Revenge Arc.

There were plenty of things from the manga that would have been nice to see, but all things considered, these movies were still amazing. ronin myael pointed out one of the complaints I had, and my other one lies in the fight between

Takeru is brilliant as Kenshin.
"Kaoru" needs to be more energetic and strong.

The epic match ups didn't disappoint. Spoiler for spoilers: My complaint is the last fight with Shishio that required Sano, Saitou, Aoshi and Kenshin to go against him all at the same time. Shishio is monstrously strong but not that strong. In the manga, they actually took turns fighting him. Shishio's fire trick with his Mugenjin wasn't explained or even hinted at, to the uninitiated it would have seemed like magic. And Aoshi's sudden entrance into the fight was cliched. I was like, where did he come from?! LOL The lack of action from the Juppongatana was disappointing but at least Anji got his 15 minutes. Maruyama Tomomi is a relatively popular Japanese actor and the fact that he was cast as Anji the monk is a nod to the character's significance in the Shishio arc so I was happy about that at least. __________________ "Sometimes you wake up. In the manga, they were pretty evenly matched and it came down to Kaiten Kenbu Rokuren versus the Amakakeru Ryū no Hirameki. Movie Aoshi seemed like a pushover who never stood a chance against Kenshin. The fight in the movie also lost a lot of its emotional punch because it was Kenshin's first time meeting Aoshi. Manga Kenshin personally knowing the circumstances that caused Aoshi to change strengthened his speech, and that was what made the fight memorable for me.
