Hmm not sure Yoko does kinda looked like Birdy in the OVA except for the hair colors of course:



Also the TV series is based on the 2nd manga series which started in 2003 unlike the OVA series which was based on the first manga series which started in 96. Birdy's hair is all red in front of her hair. Which is why she looks more like Yoko or should I mean more like Yoko looks like more Birdy since Birdy 2nd version still came first.

Ep 3 was really great. It's a lot more meaningful to fans of the manga though especially when you understand Birdy's past. =x

It looked like a lot of depth was missing though so hopefully there will soon be something on birdy's past life. I smell tragic heroine...

Well that just came completely out of the blue. How the hell could Tute die so early in the series?! And so simply just like that (I mean in the next episode it seems as if Birdy recovered from it 100% quite quickly)

I felt the same way its not like i didnt like it because of course there was point to it but it kind of left my heart with gaping hole. Birdy is actually a very complex character in how she expresses her emotions and such. God im loving the remake so much right now im thinking of going back and rewatching the original once this is done.

This week's episode was pretty awful. You wouldn't think that leaving Earth would be a bad thing, but then they had a 10 minute or so courtroom proceeding.

Nothing says awesome like Space Law and Order.

Only without Jack McCoy.

And Senkawa is the star witness.
