Holy crap, my friend just streamed me the joke route and I must say that was a unique kind of funny. Even if I didn't know most of the characters, I still had coffee splatter moments on my keyboard throughout. Though the ending didn't make a lot of sense, all things considered.

The system's just so advanced, so goshdarned purty, I wonder how much development money this company spent on the game..

In layman terms, it is basically someone acting immature, using artificial means to look interesting/cool (acting like a yankee while they are just scrub, trying to act "unique" with questionable fashion sense/music taste etc).

It is also used for stories which are basically like "what fanfiction of a teenager would go", so basically some flashy shounen-ish crap and the likes.
To be fair, this story is one of Nasu's earliest concepts. He thought about it during his middle school years as such it does not have the refinement of his later works.

I kept all my earlier drafts of things I thought up in 10th grade to high school. Upon re-examining some were god darn awful. What was I thinking? xd

I think they also let him run wild and unsupervised this time. And uhh. that's usually not good.

Just got mine. It's sweet. The art book is nice. Aoko is a total babe... damn.

Can't wait for the translation patch... it's going to be a while unfortunately.

Well, I got mine as well

Spoiler for Ta da!:
Nice looking packaging and Amiami is really reliable. Will be shopping with them again in the future.

Have to say though, really disappointed with the extras. Or rather the lack of extras. I was really bothered about the lack of an OST with the first release (have all preorders include the OST with them, and then release it separately instead of just making everyone have to buy it) but I could have gotten past that had they at least included something more with it. The artbook is nice and all even if it's paperback (Really? ...), but without even a special booklet or CD, I don't really know what incentive would a non-Type-Moon fan have to pre-order this.

*sigh* well, no matter. Hopefully the game is better. Now all what I have to do is wait for a translation ...

Me too. Some of them are official too, like Mystic Eyes.

Some are pretty good (FIVE, imbalance, etc) and some are just loud. The first time I've listened to it, I feel it's pretty much that they've created Aoko-like musics for the OST Oh, and that hoshi ga matataku konna yoru ni ~game ver~ is pretty awesome.

I haven't been following this game's news and developments, so could someone please shed some light on what makes the system different from others?

I don't think the "system" is different. They just have better effects, like panning and higher resolution.

And I feel obligated to add that I can't wait for the translation, lol.

That is unexpected. Let's just hope they do a good job. They made themselves out to be total jerks in the post, so yeah.

Thats how the guys at commie are, after a while you just let it roll off your back. They do put in a lot of work so I give them credit for that though.

So commie has 67.99% translated, though I hear the translator is busy with school so that may slow things up. Appreciate that they've gotten this far though.
