Took those three pages from "That is why I assault Ren", also dubbed as "A cat is fine too".

Fairly easy to find, and you'll have a good laugh if you played Tsukihime & Fate / Stay Night. You can also check his other works, like - "Bloomer-kun", "Platonic Magician", "Platonic Magician 2". Or at least I think they're his works... ^_^

If Mikado's objective is to revive Yukariko, or something similar (like retrieving her soul, and using Maria as a vessel as I suggested), then he's on Nagi's side.

Say that he's successful, and Yukariko is revived, or possesses Maria; she's Nagi's mother, and would probably disapprove possession, or just scold Mikado for doing such a thing, though she'd definitely be happy to see Nagi again. Mikado wouldn't go against her wishes. For example, if she expressed guilt over taking over another body, and wanted to return to wherever dead people go in HnG...

But, let's say that Maria has nothing to do with this. She's revived with her own body. Happy end. What about Athena then? Hmmm, can't have everything, eh?

I wonder if there's gonna be a sacrifice, or if Hayate will save everybody.

Well, 250 is going to be good. It's a nice cliffhanger for a change, and we can expect color pages. I wonder who'll be on em, and in what setting. Hmhmhm...

Perhaps just the cover, because it's sort of "serious" now, because Hayate has to make a difficult choice if he's not presented with an alternative. What about a scene of shock and surprise upon seeing the gem breaking, or Nagi hearing about Athena in shock? .... Ah, next week can't come sooner. Ah, but next week sucks for me irl...

I don't think "this thing called amnesia" is of important. I'm pretty certain many situations---anime, manga, and reality alike---cure amnesia by having/making the person remembering the past because the past is always within everyone.

If it's about forgetting, you don't need amnesia to forget about the past or , at least, some of it. Hayate demonstrated it by working and training his butt off.

In that way, it sounds like a plot device. "Hey, let's introduce a character that had a past with Hayate, so that she can be in a relationship with him." Whilst the idea is not bad, in my opinion, that alone doesn't work, mainly because (in the story) there were other characters that were there and had development before Athena showed up. So, if she wins just because of a past story with Hayate it'd feel quite cheap and unfair for the other characters, and for the fans who supported them, in my opinion. This is why I believe there should be development in the present.

True, Hayate and Athena haven't spend much time together in the present, and I, too, would like for them to have some moment together for further development. However, I don't think it's unfair (true, it is for the fans) for them to be couples right now compare to HayateX(other). What they went through, their non-mutual separations, and how they feel about one another is much more strongly than the other characters, yet they have the most gigantic wall between them.

I don't think it's avoidable for this arc to base on their situation 10 years ago since they just met again. If the past doesn't exist, there will be no future which is exactly how they feel right now.

on a crazy note another crazy option would be:

Hayate doesn't destroy the stone but gives up being nagi's butler, so she doesn't lose the inheritance, hayate then proceeds to go to an already possessed athena fighting and both dying in the process with some romantic development.


It's super crazy.... but i would really like that end
