Speaking of which, Sengoku Otome had a manga serialized in Dengeki Daioh, it's plot was pretty serious business in stark contrast to the anime.
... Also, *prays that it won't be just all a dream.* I've experienced the backlash of writing a "just a dream" plot from my own teachers for my exam papers firsthand.

Since the anime did not elaborate on how Yoshiharu appears in the alternate universe, I can see why there's speculation of "it's all a dream". On the other hand, by not explaining how he arrives, the anime wastes no time in going into stuff like "looking for a lightning storm to power up the time machine to go back to the future".
I'm tired of shows that the main character spends half the time trying to find his way back, defeats the last boss who conveniently has the key for him going back, then decides he wants to stay afterall. Just give me more Nobuna-chan and less moping about going home. |

Those are the music covers I think, not the Light Novel covers. I got all 9 covers with me right now, though Moderators probably will not let me upload them. To answer your question getdoubles, right at this moment vol 1 just finish and episode 5 starts out with vol 2. I taking a guess the anime will go at least vol 3 and maybe 4. Vol 4 is a great place to finish for the first season unless all the major websites are lying to me that instead of 12 episodes it is 24 episodes. It would make my day.

Sengoku (Past) 05 - The Strategist That Wasn't Really a Man
There's been more Mitsuhide than past weeks, so now I have a better idea of her personality. She's a bit snippier than Kitamura's take on the character (but just as scared of ghosts), and I have no idea how she compares to Hikasa's portrayal. Gonna need to wait until Thursday before that. Hanbei's pretty cute, and having both a strategist and a spiritualist on the team is sure to come in handy. That thing she did at the end with the projections of the soldiers was really nifty. I didn't think I'd see a food version of Russian Roulette happen in both Nobuna and Collection. Collection's version was a little fairer (meaning it was possible to win at all), and also didn't have rocks served as food. Hope Yoshiharu's tooth is okay - dentistry wasn't quite as advanced back then. And, if only for a brief moment, seeing him and Nagamasa work together (sort of) was nice. May next week's battle top the showdown at Okehazama in terms of spectacle. Yoshiharu's continued insistence on seeing everything in game terms is enjoyable. He's like Keima, but with a different genre of game. |
