This novel seems really interesting~. Hope someone will pick this one.

One thing I can't come to terms with, is the MC throwing his life away to save a girl who, for lack of a better description, was "NTR'd" from him. Really, a truly full-fledged NTR story protagonist. Yeah, I know this doesn't really count as NTR, but it's one of the misfortunes the Goddess gave him points for, so....

Well, at least he gained a harem as a result.

You are looking at this wrongly, the fact that the mc still cares for her even after all of the events; it shows that she is his "one true love". Also the fact that she had apparently broken up with 'what's his face' at the time and was probably about to try to return to the mc is only written as such to give her that tragic heroine status (which is continued in her second life); it's also good means to justify the abnornal loyalty that she feels for him now, she is "atonning" for what happened before.

An obvious "twist" for a "good boss fight" would be if the goddess adds that 3rd childhood friend and if he tries to steal the heroine again (he might even en up as a demon lord or something that can't be stopped by a single person's efforts); that would also give the heronine another chance to "cleanse" herself from the betrayal by again choosing the mc (like when she did in the dragon's lair). It's a pretty straightforward way to write a character; which is why she shines less than other characters (like the other possible main wife, Firianese), from my perspective.

But that's precisely what's bothering me. I mean, the guy should just move on, and screw the childhood friend. Betrayal? Atonement? Weren't his feelings one-sided? Please, clarify something for me before I give the rest of my argument. Did the MC and his childhood friend ever dated each other, confessed their feelings, or something along these lines?

It was pretty obvious that they were into each other but the other way used their closeness to get in the way; which is why he couldn't keep the relationship up.

And about the mc being single minded about someone, you should give up about it; because that's one of the top template qualities that mcs have in japanese shounen that are extremely well liked (hugh).


What is interesting about Riona / Leona; though is how the mc is aware that she is a different person than Hina and has to cope with it some times (I think he once felt the temptation of making Riona only "his" to compensate what happened before? but he realized it was stupid, rather; he stopped himself before having that thought).

I don't consider the merchant girl part of the harem. But yes, his 3 childhood friends, the 3 knights, the 3 girls in his adventurer party, the princess + maid, dragon girl, and his childhood friend's mom are pretty set at this point.
The only other things to note are possibly the thief girl and mermaid nun. Thief girl because he recently re-captured her, but she hasn't shown up since so it's hard to tell.
And while the mermaid nun gets nearly no screentime or barely any mention at all, I believe Hiroto mentioned she's one his guest party member healers (he considers the 3 knights and Sarasa guest members as well), which since all of the other party members and guest members love him, I just imagine she does as well. Plus she has that whole 'her capped singing skill is sealed' thing that was never touched on, but that's probably a Disney's Little Mermaid thing in exchange for having legs.

Reminded me. Just to note, Hiroto is living in the complete universe, as when it was a game, I believe it only had 30% of the planned content (I think he mentioned that the main quest was supposed to have 10 parts but only 3 were implemented when he was a player?). The beastmage or whatever it is is one of the expansion classes Hiroto never heard of. Hiroto's also working on changing the setup to the first main quest of the game, so who knows how that will affect everything.

About the maid from Shiriga- I mean Seagal family, Hiroto remark that He is interested in seeing all 7 sisters and their mother, flag raised unknowingly?

Yes, Hiroto only experience 3 Grand Scenario/Quest of 10 (Eternal Magia being in real-time, so I guess it's understandable?), many things implemented without his knowing, and surprise easter egg (namely: holy sacred milk), His actions so far (evading dragon extermination, thieves capture, preventing princess abduction) makes the course became really unpredictable, even to Him, who knows much more than any other player.

Other tensei game story usually has protagonist know every cranny and nook of the game their transported or reincarnated in and taking full advantage of it, like playing the same game again but in different console.

So Tensei (reincarnation) is not limited to Hiroto and Hina, as Mikoto is also the same. Mikoto died several months after Hiroto in the hospital. She ask the same thing as Hina, to be placed near Hiroto as not settling the duel with him is her regret. However, she is transported to different continent, 3 years before current time (Hiroto was 5) possibly because of different time of death and her job class. Mikoto also keep her age as 17 (but doing that cost her some bonus point).

This is one of the title where log is the cheat thing, most title has map, or status menu overshadowing the log.

Mikoto is the sub-leader for the guild Hiroto used to run (as the guild master) before he died, and he, Mikoto, and presumably the person who is Nanashi used to talk quite a bit. She mentions that Mayu (Nanashi?) would only consider him manly for going around getting breastfed based on the stupid things they used to talk about.

Mikoto herself is a ninja and likes roleplaying, and used to be the/a top PVPer and is still quite the battle maniac (it's even a passive (negative?) skill). She offers to teach Hiroto Ninja skills (even past the 30 cap) if he tells her how he got Limit Break. She's 9 years physically older than Hiroto now.
Hiroto tells her how he got Limit Break without beating around the bush, and she gets a little flustered but doesn't have a problem with it, though she isn't sure how she'll go about getting Limit Break like that. Hiroto does consider the possibility of giving "dragon milk" to others, but we'll see. They don't do anything aside from catch up a little this chapter (aside from Mikoto falling to Hiroto's passive charm skill, where she starts stripping for a moment without even being told to before it wears off and she re-dresses before anything happens), so any lewd things that might (very likely considering everything) happen will happen either next chapter or after the princess gets baptized or whatever.

She joins his party at the end of the chapter, but would like to fight Filianesse at some point.

It also makes me wonder if Limit Break has a quest to get past 30 as well.

- Princess hinted to be closet masochist. Hiroto should have checked
- Mikoto was 12 on earth, and she was trying to pass herself as older (so, it's not like she was eternally 17 for 5 years?). The MC was surprised considering how dependable she was; she is pretty devoted to the mc, as their moving talk showed.
- 2 priestess sisters introduced 19 & 16 years old. Already captured; the mc is debating on milking them or not? Something about them having jobs that weren't available in the game, I just skimmed over this part....
- Upcoming big battle, and it's not even the one from the festival. trash-duke made a death threat towards everyone in the city so that the temple doesn't give the batismp to the princess. It should be noted that it's his domain, so if he erases everyone, he might be able to gloss things over.

I thought the battle was gonna be in this chapter, bleh. He didn't even milk the sisters to compensate (thought they were pretty willing, speaking of defilement and such )

new chapter this morning (at my place) after getting delayed just like last time (as long as I know this will still get updated I'm happy).

This chapter start with Hiroto and Mikoto and arrived at the village where Lucie is going to get her baptism. At the inn, Mikoto once again greets the other. Mikoto smoothly explain about herself being a Ninja from different continent, having a surprise encounter with a strong boy (Hiroto) and knowing the famed Saint Knight (Filianess) is also with him, She decided to accompany the boy to seek his secret to become strong. While talking about Hiroto strength, Mikoto amuses herself with Hiroto (harem) situation.

After that, Lucie and Ianna excuses themselves for dress coordination for tomorrow ritual. Mikoto went out exploring the town. Filianess and Hiroto went to meet the head of the church.

At the head church house (who is also the head of the village), Filianess and Hiroto are greeted by two sisters, Fahm Farlena and her younger sister Ira (Aira?) Farlena. Fahm is going to offer sing to the Goddess while Ira is going to dance at tomorrow's Rite of Baptism. There supposed to be another person who is going to sing at the ritual, but due to a reason, she lost her singing voice and is on missionary work, her name is Sella Chiffon.

Fahm expressed some anxiety and Hiroto quickly pointed the source of it, the church is pressured to not perform the rite to Lucie.

Fahm is surprised, she initially didn't want to believe that there are someone up to no good against Lucie but after the church received a threathening letter to not perform any rite for one month or the village will be destroyed, her suspicion turn into worries, and furthermore hearing from Hiroto about the attack on Lucie carriage, her worry becomes large, but she decided to fulfill her duty for the royalty and ready to accept the consequences. Hiroto didn't want that to happen and he persuade Fahm that he and Filianess has the strength to protect them (Ira affection level rise).

After the talks, while the other takes turn for bath, Hiroto went to the lookout tower, over there, Mikoto suddenly appeared and they have a talk there. Mikoto asked about Hiroto age in previous world and by that question, Hiroto figured out what is overlooked about Mikoto. Mikoto age is 17 and if she takes over her age from previous world, that means her age in previous world is 12 and she has started playing Eternal Magia from age of 6 or 5 (considering she is a beta-test player). Mikoto told Hiroto that "Starry to Heaven" has disbanded and lots of players stopped playing following Hiroto disappearance (to be exact, death). Hugging him from behind, she expresses anxiety when she came to Magiaheim, that Hiroto will always be "older" than her, partly to her complex of young age, but now Hiroto is younger than her, and seeing Hiroto wants to save the village, she is glad that Hiroto is the same guild master that she respect. After that Mikoto offered her "milk" if they both survived the battle later.

Night, Hiroto takes bath alone and just when he want to check if his skill is turned off or not, the door opened behind him. Thinking it's Aletta and Mar, he called out to him but received no response. Looking at the log, he is surprised to see two names he didn't expected to appear, Fahm and Ira. As usual, both are charmed and they offered to help him wash. Hiroto, with eyes closed (or try not to look behind) check Fahm and Ira status screen, and his thought switched after seeing bot having rare class, Bishop and Shaman. Being a man who has sold his soul to milk, he starting to lose to temptation but before that, Hiroto wants to make sure about Ira, she has [Lovemaking] skill at level 32. Fahm explained that dancer like her are trained from young age about pleasing opposite sex (not that she has any real experience or will used that skill as she have to keep her virginity for the Goddess). Fahm and Ira came to help Hiroto as a part of a custom about cleansing visitor and purifying filth before being allowed to enter the Cathedral (or the main shrine). Hiroto mention that he received "small blessing" from both of them before purifying the filth. Both of them thanked him with satisfaction (implying he might have milk them). This chapter is closed with Hiroto remarks that if the Goddess that they worship is the same as the one who reincarnates him, then the reunion between them might not be too far like he had thought before.

Hiroto you did it again, "Double Kill!" followed by "Another champion has fallen..."

Looking at the dialogue, probably, the game is still ongoing, but maybe it will shutdown in not so far future, with the disappearance of top players, players stop playing, or maybe rumor about unnatura disappearances (if it did happen).

Need more character from Earth, a lot of them to make things more interesting.
