I agree. Totally agree. I am a BIG IchikaXKaito fangirl (even though to me their relationship is more like I fell in love with my hot babysitter). Does not take away how wonderful of a plot and how realistic the emotions the characters portray parallel to common adolescent romance and miscommunication. I totally TOTALLY love this series and is it has reached to my all time favortie ROM-COM anime (along with Tora-Dora).

This is the main reason why this show makes us feel old. A romance like this never seen since Onegai Sensei(Tora Dora's cute but its not Onegai Sensei levels).

Hey, I've never denied that this is seriously old-school - I revel in it. If someone showed this to you as an anime from 5, 10 or 20 years ago I doubt you would be able to tell the difference, apart from the animation. It's a timeless, sexy romcom the way anime used to do them pretty often but rarely does anymore.

At first, though, I was afraid you'd be one of its biggest critics since this show is old school and you being very picky with anime.

I'm just relieved your from the same era as everyone in the 20 to 25 age bracket. And that you did like Onegai Sensei XD

And thats what makes it 1000x better than anything that they feed us these days and try to pass for romance.

How much more interesting is a love polygon compared to the same old same old harem setting?

How much easier is nakedness and ecchiness to swallow, when it actually comes across as believable? When the anime doesnt come up with ridiculous excuses how the MC runs into naked girls, or by accident ends up face first in their tits or the girls have problems keeping balance and keep tripping over and exposing their undies in the process. I mean common!!

I loved the scene where Mio shows her naked butt to Tetsurou.... thats something I havent seen delivered in this way before and hell I appreciate it.

Too bad they dont offer the same kind of fanservice for us girls. I would order shower scene with Tetsurou.... nyaaaa

Interesting... I suppose I am picky, although I always expect to be be (and often am) accused of bias against trendy stuff rather than against old-school stuff. If anything, timelessness is a quality I value highly - anime whose merits aren't based on any special adherence to a trope or skill at being in the right place at the right time.

Loving how it's constantly in motion. Still not fond of whatshisname (jealousy? who knows!) but at least he came clean this episode. Sort of. I still have no clue why Ichika is infatuated with him. On the other side of the spectrum, he's clearly infatuated with her breasts. Ah well. Anything but an Ichika end is inevitable at this point, unless JC Staff has more twists in store for us. Which I hope so, because this is highly entertaining stuff.
