From what I hear in one of the interviews, Marina Inoue (Yuuta's VA) has said to the viewers that the story will tie up a lot of loose ends and make things become more meaningful like a slow puzzle starting in episode 6 and thereafter. It is also the series' turning point and will immediately change atmosphere from slapstick comedy to hardcore actionfest onwards.

After rewatching the first three episodes with subtitles on, I'll have to say I can easily notice that a lot of subtle details could lead to interesting foreshadowing. I'm almost surprised that this show had more going for it than just pantyshots, an aspect that sadly slowly loses focus despite the initial premise.

I'm also going to point out that Ito really reminds me of Akira Renbokoji: they both wear long jackets with no actual bottom piece of outfit to be seen, are NEETs and most of all, they indeed have dark pasts, whom I assume that Ito was likely victim of bullying for reasons that will be revealed when she gets one, I'm very interested about what her flashback will be like. I'm also curious as to why Yuta's sister had a relation with her if I remember correctly.

There's a lot of other new details I started getting curious as well, like who the hell is Meika's father having to have a possible connection with Yuuta, Lovela's male friend trying on what sort of business he needs to deal with, who is Miyazawa as well Chihaya and how everyone will learn the truth behind Mika being the same person acting as Strange Juice. It's one of those series where I really became curious as to what kind of mystery will suddenly unravel each week.

I can easily imagine that things will shape up pretty nicely and will soon tie up several loose ends over the course of the story in a short span of episodes.

Spoiler for Episode 4:

Story gets a lot interesting than I expected. First we learn that Mika had a not-so happy past when we find out that she was an human experiment from a very young age, however we don't know about how and why she suffered that way and when I discovered one time she's taking pills, it could be made for reasons revealed later on. Then there's Lovela and her history and how her boyfriend foreshadowed a few episodes ago is invited to a mini-party that led to several hilarious scenarios, ending with interruption of Miyazawa trying to cause trouble. Last but not least, after Yuuta learned something about the youth death prediction, it turned out that Ito apparently died a certain cause after a violet-haired school student shared the same fate. There's only a few pantyshots to be seen in this episode and during one scene where Yuuta takes a cinnamon with a purpose explained by Chiranosuke, he accidentally break it up and then saw Mika's fluffy pink panties which almost caused him to have nosebleeds, it's a good thing Yuuta learned a thing to overcome said obstacles. Punchline ended up being the most pleasant surprise I have seen this season, its overall plot reminds me of Gaworare, with silly harem interactions intercepted with intense moments of plot and twists, I really had high hopes after watching this episode.
