Always seemed likely, but this series isn't quite a big enough powerhouse to have made it 100% sure it'd continue in anime form. Good to see.

They already replaced Taneda with Kanemoto Hisako for the recent OVAs. If there's no announcement of Taneda's condition anywhere, I assume there won't be any change so far. I'm sure they're already midway in the production so it's safe to say Kanemoto will continue to be Erina.

It is a shame Taneda won't be there for what is basically Erina's character arc, but what can you do.

Wait what happened to Taneda? I haven't seen the OVAs so I didn't know she was replaced. Still looking forward to this season though because I thoroughly enjoyed the first two.

Been 9 months now. She got replaced in other shows as well. Her role as Kisaki in WWW Working!! was given to Nana Mizuki. The current Danmachi Sword Oratoria got Kawasumi Ayako to voice Riveria. In Chaos;Child her role from the original VN as Kunosato Mio was replaced by Sanada Asami. In FGO game she was replaced by Takahashi Rie who continued to be Mashu in the FGO First Order OVA.

One of the great seiyuus out there. I hope she gets better soon. The world of seiyuu also missed Masashi Hirose due to similar case of unspecified illness.

Nice first episode.

We got introduction of the main characters again and I like Souma's character chemistry with both Erina and Megumi right off the bat. There's a glimpse of the Elite 10 (yes, Rindou!) so expect to see more of them later on this season. Foodgasm wise, it's just going tame so far with the tofu but I expect that to pick up too.

Personally, I like the ED theme song better than the OP song.
