Stain hasn't made his move either, he could potentially be the biggest monkey wrench in AFO's plan do to how influential he is with the country's villains and how the League's foundation were built by appropriating Stain's cause.

We flash back to Ochako's team vs. Toga at Okuto island. The heroes figured out a strategy to deal with the villain's stealth technique: Since it seems to be based on misdirection, it would be difficult for it to be effective against several people at once. Thus, the strategy is to have at least four heroes attack her at all times! Gang Orca also notices that the Noumu lacks a regeneration quirk, so he has the rest of the heroes focus on taking it down, since most of the island's villains have already been defeated!

Even Toga realizes things are going a bit too smoothly for the hero side. She weighs her options, considering taking Twice's blood straight away. However, she figures she'd only be able to make 30-40 clones max if she does, and should the heroes fight back, the Sad Man's Parade will die on this island. She also wonders if Machia will awaken, but concludes that even if he does, it would be too difficult for him to reach her. Believing she has no other choice, she raises the vial to her mouth as she decides to believe in Spinner. However, just as the vial is raised, Tsuyu (who thinks it contains either AFO's or Shigaraki's blood,) intercepts her, destroying it!

Unfortunately.... Froppy fell for Toga's trap. That vile was a fake one containing a drug that attracts the High End Noumu! Just as it attacks, Ochako arrives to find two Tsuyus in front of her! One of them proceeds to drink the real vial, transforming into Twice! And if that weren't enough, a it's at that very moment that Kurogiri arrives through his portal! He asks Toga what she desires, and she answers the extermination of all heroes..... starting with Hawks. Ochako tries to reach the portal, but Toga's clones stop her. She them laments that she wasn't able to talk with her about love.

In the present, back at Gunga, Hawks is well aware that Toga is responsible for Twice's "resurrection". Dabi starts burning down the forest while Toga launches the Sad Man's Parade, creating hundreds of Twice clones! But it's also at that moment that Ochako comes flying out of the portal, having been thrown through it by Tsuyu! Now, she joins up with Endeavor's team against AFO Prime's....!!!!

On the plus side, the series will return next issue, along with the results of the latest character poll (of which Bakugou or Todoroki will inevitable take the top spot, lol

I suspect he couldn't juggle all the battle scenes he set up, so moved all the important players to the two main spots so he could focus on those. However, he had already written himself into a corner with the villains, and now he's made them even stronger/more organized, so he likely doesn't know how to get out of it without a deus ex machina.

First off, poll results! The top 10 are:

In the chapter itself, it starts out with Ochako and Tsuyu joining Endeavor's team at Gunga. Toga (who's still in the form of Twice) calls the two girls stubborn, and that the girl who wanted to discuss love with them no longer exists. The Twice clones are busy wreaking havoc, further multiplying in number and tangling with the heroes. Tsuyu notices Dabi is there, which makes her concerned about Shouto and Shouji's teams. Jirou and Tokoyami regroup with Endeavor's team as well, voicing their worries about the current situation: At the rate they're multiplying, the Twice clones could soon take over Japan. Furthermore, Dabi's flames are far too hot for them to get any closer.....

Speaking of Dabi, we cut to him vs. Endeavor! The #1 hero notices the "X" around Dabi's chest resembles Shouto's technique.... making him question what Touya did to his little brother. The villain answers that he wanted to bring Shouto along as a present, but wasn't able to... meaning he can't fully accomplish his dream now. But at the very least, he still intends to destroy something dear to his old man! As for AFO Prime, he monologues that things are mostly going according to plan, with the only hiccup being that he wished Kurogiri could have warped him to the airborne UA, as that would have been more convenient for him. Nonetheless, he decides it's time to reunite with Tomura, and flies off!

Hawks attempts to intercept the villain, but he gets blasted back! He then tries to distract AFO, telling him that by fleeing, that would mean he admits defeat to the no. 1 hero.... but the villain brushes that off as nonsense. Speaking of Endeavor, he still has his hands full with Dabi right now.... but says that now, he can fulfill his duty as a father, and properly look after his son....!!!!

With the heroes getting hit by setback after setback, failure after failure, and the villains continuously pulling more trump cards and reversals out of their hats, I honestly legit can't see any way for the heroes to win anymore.

I think Horikoshi may have written himself into a corner, similar to how Kishimoto made Madara Uchiha too overpowered and invincible and had to write up a brand-new out-of-nowhere contrived plot-twist villain in order to move the story along and give the good guys a chance.

Considering how Star and Stripe was bluntly introduced as a very convenient way to reduce the number of quirks AFO had, effectively nerfing him to a certain degree, it is quite obvious Horikoshi will have to do the same circus again at some point.

Yeah, I'm not sure what the plan is either. Deku can't even manage to take down a Shigaraki with no Quirks. And now the original AFO is heading there too?

The Kurogiri thing should have never happened.

How will that even help, though? Shigaraki has all his quirks sealed and still curbstomped everyone until Deku showed up, and even after Deku showed up it's not like he's losing. He's just getting batted around and not doing anything, but he isn't losing either.

Now add in that AFO is on his way and Kurogiri is probably off to free Machia, and it's like... how are the heroes ever supposed to reasonably do this? Short of BS power-ups or the like, there's no way the heroes have a shot.

I didn't mean same circus as limiting the number of quirks from the villain side but rather a convenient plot device to balance out the glaring power gap between both sides. Star and Stripe was basically the most recent glaring example of that which, funnily enough, wasn't enough to even the playing field back then.

Humorously enough, it did literally nothing except put AFO on a timer since he just transferred his own copy of rapid regeneration (the only quirk that mattered that was destroyed) to Shigaraki. He still healed himself, but he just used a modified deleter round instead of a quirk.

It was actively a worthless sacrifice.

I really only see one way out of this: foreign heroes intervention just in the nick of time. I think the brief scenes with that weather lady were supposed to set that up. It's the only way I can think of for them to turn the tide.
