I'm starting to think about forgetting about the radar and hope that it will be upgrade able later. The final kill of the FIRST boss is giving me nothing but trouble and I bet I wouldn't even need to repair my ships on easy. - I really cna't imagine having to farm Tashkent here.
Then again I plan on going casual for e7 anyway so I can as well go full out on E6

Basically, the only 2 FBBs I have left that aren't part of historical routings are Hiei, Kirishima and Gangut.
The former two block me from getting the iron bottom fleet while the latter can't actually make it to the boss because OH snap slow ship discrimination again.

I could sacrifice Kongou since I already used Iowa in the Kurita Fleet anyway.
The friend fleets are pretty much useless to me atm.
The nishimura fleet is missing half its ships, while all the others get shot before they can do actual damage.
All my LBAS are equipped with fighters just to let my fleet pass the pre-boss nodes lol

Technically she is not wrong. Ozawa Jisaburō became the commander of the 3rd Fleet/Kidō Būtai in November 1942. He led the Japanese forces at Philippine Sea.

Similarly, while she was assigned to Shima's force prior to Leyte, Abukuma did not participate in the transport operations for Leyte, which form the base of E5.

E6H done, 12 runs for the first boss, 10 for the second 26 for the last. The last kill was so maddening I ended up switched the FBB for spare CAV ( not sure if it really helped) and the only noticeable drop were Sado, Noshiro, Kumano and Takanami. That map left me biter, much time and resource used for so little return, with even some of the first and second boss kill giving no drop at all.

I still have to pass E7 and find Tashkent, Hamanami and maybe Daitou... How do we open the boss node and shortcut in E7 ?

Does ABKM count for the dmg bonus though?

Unless you plan on doing e7 on hard mode, there is not reason not to go full out on e6.
Apparently the only two difficulties that are actually worth it are casual and hard mode, medium and easy are either to close to the next difficulty or have shite drop rates compared to casual and hard.

Edit: Node support in e6H; Boss 2 is a lie.
its really rare to see it do more than 20 damage if any at all.
And before people ask:
Yamato, Fusou (both standard BB equip), Warspite the same but with a radar isntead of an AP shell., Poi, Assashio k2D, Zuikaku 2x Murata TP, 2 x suisei 601
Everyone bar the DDs was sparkled.

Sadly there seems to be no friendly fleet help for the second boss either...

Why a Fletcher? Almost the whole fleet had 5" guns, and most of the destroyers had them in single mounts aside from the destroyer leaders and a few late era ships that had them in twin mounts.

The fun thing is that it has better stats than all non-special the IJN twin mounts.
As for why a Fletcher: Because Sara and Intrepid need an escort that doesn't brag about her firepower the entire time

True, but nearly all the US destroyers and destroyer escorts have that exact same mount. Including the John C. Butler-class destroyer escort. Which was the class of the USS Samuel B. Roberts and other ship that were with Taffy 3.

USS Johnston, Hoel, and Heermann, who were also there, was a Fletcher-class destroyers.

E6EH Part 3 LD is basically fishing for the one run where EVERYTHING fall in to place. Send one LBA to deal with the trollsub node, you are praying you deal more than enough damage to compensate for the loss of 1LBA wave at the boss or relying on the russians to deal with the remaining escort (hint: DON'T). Sending all 3 LBA is basically gambling for the troll subs in addition of the air raids nodes.

Then you have the decision to take a CAV to get enough AS at O but just fucking forget about having even Air Parity at the boss. Darth SKK and her 3 NuKai will make you forget that. Or do you want to bring Ashigara and Nachi together to take advantage of the historical fleet damage bonus? Are you fine bringing just one and compensate with more FBB? What about the last spot? 1 more FBB or a CLT who have not been fleet locked yet? I sttubbornly stuck with Kasumi, Akizuki, Nachi, Ashigara, Pasta BBs and Kumano K2. Sometimes, I tried leaving out one of the Myoukou for one more FBB, or substitute Kumano for KTKM. No workie.

Then I tried going with a submarine modded for fast speed, its goal is to tank the two battle node after the trollsubs and make her go home if Taiha, preferably from node O. And its still gambling at the last air raid.

Long story shot, getting to the boss is the biggest problem. The second big problem is to not have half your fleet taiha at the boss node when yasen come. Because your chance will decrease considerably and the Russians will not be enough to turn the tables.

This map, especially the last dance brought me to 99k bauxite and low 100k in fuel. Need to recover.

As I've said before, hopefully it's Samuel B. Roberts. She'd make a great addition to the "Destroyers (and Escorts, possibly) Who Want to Be Battleships" with Kiyoshimo and Libeccio.

Sparkles them all. Sparklecolle sucks balls. But it paid off. I must tell you that those 42 sorties are for part 3 Last dance, as if the game punished me for getting Tashkent. In hindsight, I should have dropped 1 spf from Kumano for SCAMP or radar, and I regret using Iyo + Hitomi in e4. Their 3rd slot would have allowed me to fit 1 damecon.

I either keep passing out at the So wall or O/R - The boss seems like it can be dealt with with just 5 ships but those nodes have a tendency of ruining two of my ships at once, making kasumi's Striking force equip useless.
The way to the boss kinda feels like it got 100% harder lol

Yes, it's either the air raids, the subs that your Toukais somehow failed to kill if you send LBA there, a "lucky" closing torpedo for Chi class, NuKai cancer or Ri-Kai farting in your general direction and more AIR RAIDs. And there is not guaranted that your LBAs at boss kill the escort, the support may fail, etc... Its a giant fcking lottery.

528 Buckets, 137Ammo and 73k Baux is imho still fine...

98k Fuel and 88k Steel on the other hand are not.

E: Definitely got to careless with all the sparkle shit.
I just had a lv 3 Shiranui sink due to simply not paying attention (not that it matters it was a copy) what does matter on the other hand is that the very same sparkle fleet contained my tashkent - the mere thought that this could have been her instead is disturbing.
