o I think this was the biggest WTF situation for me in the last 2-3 years. DeNiro humping the rice cooker. I mean, what kind of brain can have ideas like THAT???? O_O ... Takahiro, I wonder what YOU smoke...

o Evil Hato disciplining-threatening Ren was a joy to behold ^_^

o Death Metal Miyu... ack!

Non-game-players wouldn't have had a chance to recognize it, but at the end we were returning to the Shinra main path (interview about the sisters' father, Yume jealousy). I believe that they will simply continue with Shinra till the end, maybe with 1-2 sprinkles of Ageha and Natose. Expect the show to get a little bit darker now...

Rather dull episode, though a lot has started to happen.

The two masters are finding their dreams, and it seems Miyu's has been solved.
Seems the next one is Yume.
Then I guess something to do with Shinra from the finale. Also some mention of her father... Something for later?

The "poking Miyu's breasts and getting scolded by Mihato" was funny though.

Finally a Miyu ep, it seems like forever I have been waiting for this.

Miyu is definitely a child despite her age and one who is "oh so sensitive" around certain spots. More often than not Ren is pushing all the right "buttons" for her. A lot of fanservice for the happy yaro but thinking about it, I have to commend on how good Ren is at not letting his inner desires slip because given the same situation, I definitely wouldn't have been able to resist her charms . Well at least up to a point until he was used as a pillow and he happened to poke her in the chest (causing her to "yelp" in delight).

Yakuza Hato nee is very very scary ^_^

Then there was the eye burning scene of randomness. Mr egg dry humping the rice cooker...oh my lord XD So did he honestly think that the rice cooker was a "mate" *rolleyes*

Well despite all this random fun and play I am pleased to see that there is a plot development behind all this. It seems like the series will be taking a darker turn with Shinra talking about her father. It seems like she is also having a hard time supporting the family which caused her to take it out on Miyu.

The air becomes rather tense with Miyu declaring that she will do something, I guess Shinra never considered how harsh she was coming across and I did feel that she was being OOC.

Another turning point was seeing Yume getting really upset about Miyu getting all the attention from Shinra. She usually doesn't let that bother her too much but now with the crying fest at the end, I'm beginning to think that something is going to turn bad. I feel sorry for her.

The preview give hints on the situation and it seems like Natose will be the main person in helping Yume patch things up.

I admit that Shinra is being cruel to favor Miyu over Yume by so much, but I suppose she doesn't know that she is doing it.

With 3 episodes left I am already thinking how much I am going to miss this series.

After watching ep 9, my guess is 10 being a Yume ep with her patching things up with Shinra and Miyu. While leaving 2 for Shinra.

EDIT: After finally watching it, a few thoughts came to me.

Spoiler for episode 9:

1) Miyu is such a shotacon. If she only looked her age... but then if she did, that would take away a large part of what makes her character amusing. A twenty-something loli with a thing for cute boys in cut-off shorts? It's like a commentary on Rule 34 crossing the 4th wall or something.

2) Ren touching Miyu. Man, I haven't laughed that hard for an anime in a long time. The best part is when Mihato catches him red-handed.


Despite these moments, the episode is actually quite drama-driven. There's that part with Shinra and Ren's father issues surfacing, some focus on the relationship of the Kuonji sisters, and finally Yume breaking down. I can't wait to see how the few remaining episodes will go from here.

I cant believe there is only 3 episode left well at least for those who are watching the RAWS seems to go so fast. Viewers dependent of fansubs still have a bit more to look forward too

Enough for a full fledge romance maybe not. But for Shinra to show signs of it and maybe some of her jealousy and not anyone else been with Ren then yes.

For romance there may need to be a second season.

Why not? There are still 5 episodes left. And keep in mind, he was all googly-eyed for Shinra all the time, before the Ageha arc demanded his "attention". Way enough. Also, Shinra held her particular interest in teasing the pants off Ren, so it's not like we'd have to start from scratch either.

well next ep will be Yume centered so nothing will come out there. That leaves 3 ep, in which many assume (including myself) that the thing with the father will come out. So anything can happen.

What I suspect might happen is a kiss between Ren and Shinra. Since the series has established willing to have Ren kiss girls or girl kiss him.

If you're talking about episode 10 - based on the preview, this may LOOK like a Yume episode, but it isn't. It's an intrinsic part of the Shinra path.

Yume's time on the spotlight was on the Yumenote episode. Episode 9 is Miyu with some Yume thrown in.

With regard to episode 10, I'm having the same thoughts as Mentar.

While episode 10 will most likely contain focus on Yume, it's still part of Shinra's path—or at least, that's what is being presumed here.

For game players, most if not all the necessary (or at least, the most important) flags for Shinra's route have already been raised. Besides the hints from the OP and the fact that Ren primarily serves Shinra, there's this current Yume feeling neglected subplot (which actually started way back), and the issue that Ren and Shinra have with their respective fathers.

Of course, no one can really tell at this point where the anime will ultimately be heading. I mean, they still could add in some bits from the stories of the other girls that are compatible with Shinra's route, such as Mihato's involvement and so on. But as far as Shinra's story is concerned, it's already all there ripe for the picking.

I'm wondering though if there's still enough time for a jealous and possessive Shinra moment...

I'm definitely looking forward to what's going to happen next. I do have to say though that Natose seems to be a bit neglected in the anime.
